Shoga Sushi & Kitchen Ubud — Restaurant in Bali

This is definitely gonna be a mixed review... The atmosphere of the place is really nice and open with a beautiful courtyard out back that my date truly appreciated more then I did until it started raining and the overhang of the roof is not long enough to keep you or your food dry. Staff was very kind and really did their best. And the food was fair priced and was fresh from our experience.

That being said we had dishes come out one at a time instead of together so we basically ate separately and got a dish we never ordered plus had to reorder a dish we did order the staff were very kind but they also pressured us to smoke hookah for a photoshoot which neither of us smoke hookah and they didn't offer us a beverage, desert or anything so that was interesting exchange. The food is good and I hope they can work out the kinks or perhaps it was a one off thing. In conclusion I think they are still working out some things and it's a nice place, good food, fair price so I will go again for the udon and sushi rolls. The food was simply outstanding – fresh ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and a perfect balance of flavors. Whether it was the sushi, sashimi, or creative fusion rolls, every bite was a delight. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal at any time of the day.

The price-performance ratio is excellent, offering gourmet-level cuisine at very reasonable prices. It was an absolute pleasure dining here, and we will definitely be coming back again and again. Highly...

Not the best sushi I’ve had… reminded me of the grocery-store sushi we get in the US. Edible, but maybe the rice was a bit gummy and the flavors were muted. The cocktails were buy 2 get 1 free which lured us in, but I hate to say they were not good. Something was off with the margarita ratio- too much sour mix? Trying to be constructive :) otherwise …their staff/ service was friendly and very attentive! I think they can work a bit...
