While this was a pretty good place to stay, it is absolutely not worth the price, and pretty much all services they offer are overpriced.
We stayed here for 5 nights - at ~$80/night it seemed like a great deal, especially as it offered amenities like taxi ordering, flower bath, swimming pool, etc. However, once we got here, we quickly realized how overpriced this place is.
For comparison, nearby you can get a hotel room with bathroom & queen size bed for ~$20. It doesn't have a huge bath tub nor marble floor like this place, but I'm sure you can get all that at a fraction of the price.
Now let's talk about their amenities:
Taxi service - they order a driver to drive you around for 4hrs for 600k IDR. Sounds like a deal right? Nope. It takes 10-20min to get the cab whereas if you just walk outside in any direction within 60s multiple people will have offered you a taxi service for half a day for 400k IDR. Same thing when we left - to get to the airport they quoted 350k and 20min wait. We walked outside and got a taxi in 30s for 300k IDR. Not to mentioned they didn't tell us if we were suppose to pay the driver or not - so we did, then received 600k IDR on our bill at the end as well.. luckily after they called the driver it was all sorted out.
Food - while it wasn't bad it was clearly not authentic. Flavors were way watered down (locals told us that's common with hotels as not all foreigner can withstand the strong flavors) and cost 100k per person. In comparison when our driver took us to the local night market it was AMAZING - tasty, well-spiced, and authentic food for 20k per person. The convenience of having room service also wasn't really worth it as there were restaurants everywhere nearby.
Flower bath - order 1 day in advance and they'll make a gorgeous flower bath in your tub for 300k. Well turns out if you went to Jaen Spa within a 5min walk you can get a 2 HOUR treatment of massage, body scrub and flower bath for 350k IDR! The water they put the flowers in was also rather cold so we couldn't actually enjoy it outside of just taking photos.
The property itself is also rather small, there's only 2 floors to the entire building (we got the first floor) and all the rooms are more or less right next to the (rather small) pool which means you can't really open your curtains and let in light unless you're presentable.
So all in all there isn't anything wrong with the place per se, but coming to Bali for the first time I overestimated the need for convenient services like food or transportation and it's just not something you really need in Bali. Money also goes a looong way here so what feels like a reasonable price is actually...

I need to take some time to share a review of my positive experience at Sapodilla Ubud. It is quite tricky trying to find accommodation in Ubud because of the many options available. I was extremely fortunate to choose Sapodilla Ubud on my first trip to Bali for my partner and myself. We took a Grab car from the airport to Sapodilla Ubud on our own at about 450k IDR. This is approximately the same cost as Sapodilla Ubud's own transfer service. When we arrived, we were greeted promptly and provided with a cool, refreshing towel, and a delicious welcome drink. We were early, so we explored near the accommodation while we waited for the room to be ready. Location: Fantastic and nearby access to popular fried/grilled duck restaurants and many cafes and eateries, fair walking distance to Yoga Barn and Radiantly Alive yoga studios, monkey forest, etc. Room: We were given the ground floor room with direct access to the pool which was lovely. The room is spacious, and the bath tub is huge. Bottled water, slippers, pyjamas, shampoo/soap/conditioner/toothpaste and toothbrush are provided. Service: The team was always contactable via WhatsApp for most of our requests. Room was made every day, and includes turndown service. Wifi: Wifi was fast enough for YouTube video streaming. Transport: They also had short-trip transport if you ever needed to move about the area. Food: Breakfast was served at their dining area, or you could request it to be delivered to your room. Portions were satisfying for their western/local menu, and their smoothie bowl is delicious and filling. I enjoyed their local Bali coffee as well. Activities: They have a free Canang activity where you learn to create flower baskets that you see at every shop front, for good blessing. We made a total of nine and placed them at the porch of our room. Good massage spas near by as well! Safety: Feels very private and safe due to single front entrance from main road. The team at Sapodilla Ubud is very enthusiastic in making sure we were well taken care of, and would always greet us with "Welcome Home!" when we returned. Really grateful for the service and hospitality of Sapodilla Ubud team: Yuli, Eka, and so many other members of the Sapodilla Ubud team that we didn't manage to get the names of. We look forward to staying here again in our future trips as...
