Nestled within the vibrant Ashta District 8, Orasa's promises a tantalizing taste of authentic Thai cuisine.
I, Maga and our son went there for dinnet. Our order that evening including:
– the Black Olive Fried Rice, a unique twist on the classic Thai dish.
Tom Yum Goong.
Etc…Etc (shown in the photo)
As our dinner progressed, we encountered a significant service lapse. One of the dishes we ordered was completely forgotten, leaving us waiting for an extended period. Upon inquiry, we were informed that the order had not been input into the system, leading to a frustrating delay. Read moreOne of the better non-halal Thai restaurants in Jakarta. Staff are friendly, responsive and attentive though they are busy. Lunch time on weekdays is quite packed. Food was delicious though some dishes are a little on the salty side. Green curry was good, there’s a selection of beef, chicken and pork. We had a green curry pork. Crab cake was alright, wish that it has more crab meat taste, and thinner batter. The prawn tom yum soup is good. Another dish we enjoyed is the brinjal with minced pork, it’s flavourful. The food took so long to come and when we complained that it was already 30 minutes, instead of expediting the service, the waiter argued about the technicality that it haven't took 30 minutes. It might or might not took 30 minutes but definitely took so long for only a fried rice to be served. Instead of apologizing, the waiter decided to argue whether or not it actually took 30 minutes :)
And when the food came, it was not at all warm.
Waiter, you know who you are.
Despite the fact that I like their foods (other than the warm temperature fried rice), definitely not coming back to this place and would not recommend any of my acquaintances...
