Double-Six Rooftop — Restaurant in Kuta

When you are in the neighbourhood. Go to the rooftop and enjoy the view and location. Order some small bites or a main dish. I ordered several small bites (tapas). First bites of the octopus arms was good of taste. Real octopus taste. Some of the pieces are tasteless. I eat before somewhere else same dish octopus but without taste, waste of your money.. I was glad to catch finally a recognizing taste now. (Pina)collada was nice to drink (strong). The lamb on bread (small pita) was terific of taste. I not have pictures of it but ansjovis bite was for some parts tastefull too. Hawaïen Pizza look a like Italian bottum pizza but have for me not the taste I suspect. I recommend to walk around. Enjoy the DJ nearby the entrance and make a dance on the dancefloor in the front of the DJ. My dancefloor freinds and I notice not so much wind by a fan or airco. To bad because after a few good dance songs we swet a lot. Anyway it was nice we could dance and having fun. "We are family" hahaha (still a good song). What minus scores is sometimes the services let waiting while its not crowded. While newarrivals take there seat and want to order at 2200. Went to the Rooftop bar at Double six Hotel on Thursday June 12th . The first time I had been and was immediately impressed by the professionalism first by the staff on going into the lift going up to the barand the ladies greeting me on entering the Rooftop bar. Extremely polite and attentive their attitude was first class. I met the manager, Ni Nyoman Muliati and the service I received from her was absolutely 💯 fantastic! I have never received such nice genuine service ever! I dined with a member of the hotel staff,Rani who I have known for a couple of years when she was working on the cruise ship I was passenger on. Rani explained everything I needed to know about the hotel and the Rooftop bar. She was a mine of information and very proud to be working at such a prestigious hotel in Bali. The food and refreshments/ drinks were very reasonably priced for such a quality hotel. I was worried they would be expensive but they were good priced and good food. The staff bringing the food and drinks were extremely polite and helpful. We had such a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend visiting the Rooftop bar if you are in Bali. A hugely disappointing experience for us. We are a very laid back couple in our seventies, and it doesn't take much to make us happy, but an evening at the rooftop bar has left us feeling angry, very angry! Let's begin with the happy hour cocktails....they were all watered down and tasted nothing like the real deal. We're experts on our long Island teas which have five spirits. Usually after one of these you know you've had a drink. We had two long Island teas and a pina colada each.... you guessed it, not even a light headed feeling. You don't need to be Einstein to know that the cocktails are watered down. This greedy hotel feels the need to rip their customers off by not giving them the correct measure of alcohol in their cocktails. As for the food, nothing to write home about and way overpriced for what you got. I've made better tapas at home. Double Six management, you should be ashamed of yourselves. We will never recommend this place, nor will we be back. The night was ridiculously expensive.....an absolute rip off! You're better off going somewhere like Chez Gado Gado in Seminyak where you're treated respectfully and can enjoy a classy evening with some of the best food...
