Pan & Co Beachwalk — Restaurant in Kuta

After a year, this place was the only real reason to return to the otherwise unattractive Kuta. And once again, it didn’t disappoint! The pancakes were phenomenal as always – this time, I tried the Tiramisu version, and it was an absolute treat.

The preparation time hasn’t changed since last year – it’s still twenty minutes, and they let you know upfront. But as they say, good things take time (instant gratification is for influencers, not for true dessert lovers).

The atmosphere is still lovely, but some minor improvements wouldn’t hurt – the furniture is noticeably worn, and the seat cushions could use a good wash. Perhaps I was just unlucky, but a few small upgrades could take the experience to the next level.

The staff was smiling, helpful, and friendly. The prices remain low, which is unbelievable for such a delightful experience.

We been attracted by a poster that was promoting Sea food pasta, my gf order pasta and I order burger, then the waitress back to us and says sorry there is no scallop, so we said is ok just put more shrimps ! Do you see any scallop on the plate ? The plate as you see on the photo contain only 3 shrimp that was overcooked ! Pasta was dry not tasty at all... And the burger was the worst I had in my life, I just bite once and been to the cashier, I told them, about the scallop missing and no extra shrimps, she not reacted so I insisted explained her that was not fair for us to pay full price if there is no scallop and not extra shrimp to replace them.. Finally she been ask the manager that not even come to apology and just give us 10% discount for 2 meals that we not eat ! This restaurant brought back fond memories of my trip to Japan last year. The menu featured authentic Japanese-style dishes and desserts, such as beef patty on egg omurice, chicken katsu curry, and fluffy soufflé dessert pancakes. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The ambience was lovely, with music playing through the shopping centre's speakers that added to the vibe of the place.
