Nestled in the heart of Ubud, Natah Ubud Restaurant offers a captivating glimpse into the local culture with its beautifully designed interior that harmoniously reflects Balinese artistry. The expansive layout provides ample seating, making it a great spot for both friends and families looking to enjoy a meal together.
The menu boasts a wide variety of choices, prominently featuring traditional Balinese cuisine. Eager to sample local flavors, I ordered several dishes, but the typical seafood dish fell short of my expectations. It was unfortunately dry and overly acidic, leaving me disappointed. On a brighter note, the duck was flavorful, and the chicken was nice too, offering a small taste of Balinese cooking.
While the ambiance is inviting and the staff members were consistently friendly, the restaurant would benefit from more attention to cleanliness, as it detracted from the overall experience. Read moreSaw a video of this place on tiktok and it looked amazing so we came in here. The place looked nice and very cute. We came in without reservation but still got a place. We even got shiftet to the floor sitting place after we asked for it.
I had a mocktail wich didnt tast good at all. The ingrediants didnt mach together at all.
I had the tom yam gong soup as a starter. Unfortunatly it was not good at all. Very watery and almost no flavor. Was very disapointet.
For the main we had the mie goreng wich was very delicous and the ayam serapah. The ayam serapah was unfortunatly very tasteless as well and lacked a lot of spyces. The rice had no coconut flacor like mentioned and the greens with it didnt mach the flavor as well.
Over all i feel like its a bit a tourist trap. The place itself looks cute and authentic but the food is not matching the balinese flavor standards at all. If you are looking for good local food i would suggest to skip this place.
The staff was very friendly and...
Read moreThis place is a beautiful family run restaurant that truly captures the real Bali spirit. It’s actually a traditional Balinese family house turned into a restaurant, so you really feel the authenticity, hospitality, and heart in everything.
The food is colorful, full of flavor, and comes exactly as shown on the menu, I was honestly surprised by how identical it looked and tasted! Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented.
There’s both an open garden area and an indoor seating space, so you can enjoy it whether you want to sit outside or relax inside. On certain days, they also have live music, which makes the atmosphere even more special, definitely check their Instagram page for updates.
You’ll notice lovely cultural details all around, and the staff are some of the sweetest, most respectful, and kind people I’ve met in Bali. I honestly don’t think anyone could leave this place unhappy. Plus, the location is perfect, right in the heart of Ubud, next to the...
