Happy Eater — Restaurant in County Sligo

I just bought a bag of chips from this place today and paid upon order, but to my surprise when I went to collect the food the older man working attempted to charge me again. I tried to explain I paid already but he became aggressive and started arguing with me, I understand people get busy and may forget things but if he checked his receipts instead of arguing with me he would realised his mistake, atleast I hope it was a mistake, just be careful and keep your receipt, lots of scammers these days. On 12/07/23. I called into Happy Eater in Sligo for a meal with a friend whom I haven’t seen in 4 years. The staff showed us the menu & asked us if we would like a drink, we then ordered our meal & after our meal, I then asked them for the bill. They were glad to see us & I told them that it’s the first time I’ve been able to get a holiday in Sligo since The Pandemic of 2020. Certainly, I would recommend Happy Eater for you if you’re thinking of having a meal, while on your holiday in Sligo....

I ordered a large bag of chips and the man pulled out a bag of frozen chips and cooked those. Other people came in and ordered chips and he cooked proper homemade chips for them. Seems like if you are not local and he doesn't know you he will cook you frozen chips which were horrible. If you are in Sligo and just want a quick bag of chips avoid here. You will get better somewhere else. Wasn't very clean...
