After traveling Ireland for a week of experience & food we decided that our last two days would be in Dublin & that we were all in the mood for some steak & great drinks

Hostess was super friendly as well as the bartender who was engaging & had a great banter with me & my daughters, we were taken to our table in the dining room by the hostess who again was pleasant & friendly.

We sat for about 10 mins (our reservation was for 9:30) before our server (stocky guy with glasses & a flannel shirt) (* note that we were not greeted in any way, so we did not know his name & he seemed very flustered & uncomfortable) came to the table and when we asked if we could put our apps in first & the add entrees & he informed us that it would be ok, BUT the kitchen closes at 10:00, we said “ok, let’s get the apps going asap & we will be ready to put the remaining order in immediately after (we asked for 2 mins) We asked about the allergen menu (my daughter has a severe nut allergy & he returned with that menu) We ordered Marrow oysters Tartare Pork belly ribs

We never really got an answer about how he’d like us to order so we waited to see him again for another 10-12 mins where we ordered our entrees ribeye, rump, monkfish, cabbage, marrow, champ, mushrooms 15 mins later our Apps arrived while my girls were in the restroom. Tartare was good but needed a finish of a Salt Belly ribs were dry & overcooked, the fat had been grossly overcooked OUT of the belly & the vinegar slaw was bland with minimal seasoning of any kind… including vinegar, i had to season it myself @ the table Oysters were good but the oyster should be severed from the abductor muscle for easy removal of the oyster from the shell, instead i had to sever it myself and lose the toppings

FORTY FIVE MINS LATER WE RECEIVED OUR ENTREES

zero presentation to the plates, plates were cold

Ribeye cooked MR, was good

Monkfish was good but it would have been better if it was informed that it was a tail cut as opposed to a steak cut so that my 24 yr old daughter wasn’t having to deal with the bones

Rump. Mediocre at best, seasoned well (that’s my fault because i know better than to order that)

Sides Champ, cold Mushrooms good, but minimal garlic Beef dripping chips were tasty Buttered cabbage was never ordered by the server & instead sent creamed spinach which was the best bite of the meal Bearnaise was COLD… What self respecting steakhouse serves cold sauce

We never received dessert because our server disappeared … LITERALLY DISAPPEARED

My daughter texted me & said she saw him leave with a backpack on

I had to ask for the check and 10 mins later a random woman walked over & spoke not a world to me & just dropped a check on the table

286.25 later, still bewildered about what just happened.. i can safely say … WTF WAS THAT EXPERIENCE THAT I...

I recently had the opportunity to visit Hawksmoor Dublin during its soft launch, and while the experience had its ups and downs, overall, it left a positive impression. The restaurant, located in an iconic Dublin building, exudes a sophisticated and elegant ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were friendly and attentive throughout the evening. However, it is worth noting that the service was a little slow at times. Considering it was a soft launch, I understood that they were still fine-tuning their operations. Nevertheless, the staff's professionalism and willingness to accommodate made up for any minor delays.

One aspect that disappointed me during my visit was the limited menu. Unfortunately, many of the seafood options (lobster, scallops & oysters) were unavailable that night, which left us craving a broader selection. While I appreciate the focus on fresh ingredients and seasonal offerings, I hope that in the future, they can ensure a wider variety of choices to cater to different preferences when fully launched.

Despite the limited menu, I must commend Hawksmoor Dublin on the quality of the dishes they did offer. The flavours were well-executed, and the presentation was visually appealing. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients were evident in every bite, especially the steak quality (1.4kg Prime Rib). The knowledgeable staff also provided excellent recommendations when it came to pairing wines with our meals, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The ambiance of the restaurant, with its stylish decor and cozy lighting, contributed to a pleasant atmosphere for conversation and enjoyment. The interior design showcased a blend of contemporary elegance and traditional touches, creating a welcoming space that suited both casual and formal occasions.

While Hawksmoor Dublin's soft launch had its fair share of hiccups, it showcased immense potential. The service, although a little slow, was understandable given the circumstances. The limited menu was a minor setback, mainly due to the lack of available fish options. Nonetheless, the restaurant's commitment to delivering exceptional flavours and the inviting ambiance makes it a promising addition to Dublin's culinary scene. I look forward to revisiting Hawksmoor Dublin in the future to experience its full potential once it has fully settled...

Hawksmoor Dublin - A Remarkable Dining Experience

My recent visits to Hawksmoor Dublin have left me absolutely speechless, and I simply cannot hold back from sharing the extraordinary experiences my partner and I have had at this restaurant. It's not just about the food or the service; it's about the remarkable way they treat their patrons, making it an unforgettable destination for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

Upon our first visit, we encountered a slight delay in service, which the staff promptly acknowledged and rectified by offering us a complimentary meal on our next visit. It's not every day that you witness such a level of commitment to customer satisfaction. Their willingness to make things right set the stage for what would become a series of truly unforgettable moments.

On our return, we were greeted with yet another testament to Hawksmoor Dublin's exceptional customer service. A small mix-up led to us receiving a medium steak instead of the rare steak we had ordered. However, the way they handled this situation was nothing short of astounding. Without hesitation, they whisked away the medium steak and replaced it with the rare steak we had initially requested, all while ensuring our experience was nothing short of perfect.

What truly sets Hawksmoor Dublin apart, though, is the exceptional human touch provided by the manager, Steve. I cannot stress enough just how exceptional he is at delivering top-notch customer service. His unwavering dedication to ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated is something I have rarely encountered in any establishment.

This is more than just a restaurant; it's a place that exudes warmth, care, and a genuine commitment to making your visit special. It's an embodiment of how treating customers with kindness and respect can elevate an already fantastic dining experience into something truly magical.

In my many years of dining out, I have never encountered an establishment quite like Hawksmoor Dublin. If you're seeking a culinary adventure that goes beyond delicious food and remarkable service, this is the place to be. Thank you, Hawksmoor Dublin, for redefining the meaning of hospitality. You have earned a customer for life, and I eagerly look forward to my next visit to savor not only your incredible steaks but the unparalleled kindness you bring to...
