Popped in with my boyfriend for a quick bite to eat before visiting the Guinness storehouse. As we finished our food, my boyfriend got up and tried to get the waiters attention to pay (as he scrolled through his snapchats). My bf then went up to the bar to pay instead. After paying at the bar (because the other waiter was too busy on his phone) we were on our way out when the said waiter called us back and accused us of not paying ,after us explaining that we did, he then accused us again saying that we didn’t pay. The waitress at the bar confirmed that we did infact pay and he still continued to question us. Never have we ever been so offended and humiliated in public and all we got was a pathetic sorry afterwards. Disgraceful way to treat customers and could do with some training and some self awareness around customers . If he wasn’t to busy on his Snapchat/Instagrams he might of acknowledged that we were trying to get his attention and we already had paid, very embarrassing of being accused of not paying in front of alot of people. Waitress at bar had some good manners in backing us up, we received a pathetic sorry wile leaving the establishment from the waiter. The waiter was at the greeter desk as we left, very embarrassing now will not coming back,...
Read moreMy visit to Dublin was absolutely filled with delicious food, but it is rare that I would expect for the hotel restaurant to be one of the highlights of the experiences. Julieta was incredibly attentive and in helping us to decide what to order - telling us about the food, and discussing with us when we brought up how wonderful it was that the restaurant provided such a detailed guide on the menu about the source of their ingredients, sometimes even down to the farm from which they were sourced. Whether you are staying at the Hyatt or not, I cannot recommend enough checking out the Liberties Gate. They have really great dishes, and clearly take pride in hiring on some really wonderfully professional people to...
Read moreI was in Dublin for a little over a week and stayed at the hotel. After having awful meals around the city, the dinner service here was my oasis. I also had breakfast there twice.
All the staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely cares about the customer's experience.
I ate here four nights out of seven. The chicken dish is delectable. There are not enough words to describe how delicious it is. They have the best tasting Guinness in the city, live music on some nights, and a perfect overall vibe.
The decor is stunning and continues throughout the hotel. I would HIGHLY recommend trying this restaurant; you will not regret it!
This Bar and restaurant is excellent for happy hours, dates, and solo dinners.
