Beware of the naan... Firstly, I ordered a vindaloo which is supposed to be very spicy but I could barely taste the spice at all. There weren't even other flavours in its place. Then, the keema naan was just a naan with a couple shaved bits of doner kebab meat. Very disappointing. Edit: to the owner response saying there are different levels of spice I should choose, I had ordered on Uber Eats and was not at all prompted to enter a spice level, and the vindaloo description says "very hot" and "extra spicy" anyways. Aside from that, I'm not really sure what you mean by it's not a joke about the naan...if you are implying I did that myself, I did not and the image is exactly what I received for keema naan.

Best place for spicy food in Dublin a great value for lovely kebab rolls and delicious butter chicken and Tikka masala specially when the served with the Basmati Rice a good value for family Dinner set the staff is very professional and friendly Highly recommended 100/100. 🙂

Holy! This place is amazing! Gluten free, healthy food open late for takeaway. The owner was very nice and helped me navigate the menu with my lactose sensitivity and gluten allergy. Amazing Indian food after getting in late from my flight.

New Order Edit: -This time i ordered a hot meal from the signature chef's menu (North Indian Garlic) this was the hottest delicious hot meal i ever tried! I don't have a tolerance for hot food and I can't handle it, But I finally understand the feeling proper hot food can bring! Keep up the great work i never felt disappointed with this restaurant. I only have one suggestion to add an option for Lemon rice to the curry meals.

This is my first time ordering from this restaurant, the several bags and small containers made me open the food packaging like a christmas gift. _I ordered a meal for one included Korma with veg, Vegetarian platter plus a vegetarian kebab to try it out _The Korma curry is mild, rich, lite, and full of several matched vegetables, not thick not watery, and the restaurant actually phoned me to know how i like it because this meal is meant to be sweet but we agreed to make it salty this time. Very good costumer care and attention to details here! _The vegetable samosas in the veg platter were golden outside and stuffed inside with a saucy veg mixture, also mild, little peppery and lightly spiced. _Chips were better than what i tried in restaurants that are specialized in western food. Golden crunchy and not dry inside _Naan was fresh hot soft and well baked The provided dip was similar to Tzatziki but with an Indian taste which is a combination that i like very. _Veg kebab is filled in samoosas, salad dipped in sauce and wrapped in a fresh naan. Not the regular tortillas and pita bread. _I just can say that i enjoyed and I'm full! I even couldn't eat half of the order! For 16€ included a 30% off?? I'm ordering again with...

The food is very authentic and fresh but some dishes were nicer than the others.

Onion bahji - lightly fried, batter was nice and so was the spices.

Meat samosa - very fresh! Absolutely amazing and authentic.

Lamb Jalfrezi - Beautiful, fragrant, spicy, full of veg and tasty! Lamb had no fat and fell off the fork!

Pilau - restaurant quality, definitely reminded me of the rice you get served when sitting in an Indian with family/friends.

Chicken Tikka Masala - A little off, I feel I got a hint of cottage cheese or similar with the cream. I can't put my finger on it but it's not what I'm used to when ordering Masala.

Naan Breads - not burnt whatsoever. Very fresh and the Naan with cheese was crammed with cheese. Very nice.

Poppadoms - crispy and fresh but no mango chutney. Served with mint yoghurt that definitely wasn't kept in the fridge so that tasted quite nasty. Straight into the bin.

Overall the chefs are decent enough and the food is fresh. I would order again but I'd keep away...

I am utterly disappointed with my experience at Spice and Rice and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. I placed an order through their website with a specific delivery time. However, 10 minutes after the set time, I had to call to find out where my order was. I was told the driver was on the way.

An hour later, my order was still nowhere to be found. When the driver finally called, they claimed to be outside, but they were at a completely wrong address—showcasing a shocking level of incompetence.

To make matters worse, when I contacted the restaurant to resolve this, I was told they couldn’t issue a refund because they “don’t have access to that.” This raises serious concerns about their business practices and leaves customers helpless when things go wrong.

I have been forced to escalate the matter elsewhere since I’ve received no meaningful assistance from the restaurant. This entire experience has been nothing short of a disaster. Avoid Spice and Rice...
