I had a great experience at this pizza spot! The flat crust was perfectly crisp — just the way I like it. Toppings were fresh and generously portioned, with a good balance of sauce and cheese. The menu had a nice mix of classic and creative options, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. We especially loved the wood-fired pizzas and the side salad. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving a quality slice!

Had a lovely lunch here with the kids. Really nice quality freshly cooked food, great service - very attentive yet not intrusive and the whole meal was good value for money. They had vegan options for starters and mains as well as gluten free options. I can imagine it would be nice to sit out and watch the world go by here in better weather! Pizzas were pretty big for the kids so they kindly gave us a box to take the rest home.

Given the location i expected to be hit with tourist prices and substandard food but was pleasantly surprised with everything. The pizza and pasta was magnificent and the service was friendly and genuine which is what you'd expect from Galway people. A fairly long wait for the food to come out but it was peak lunch rush and the quality was great. One of the better meals of our trip to Ireland 🇮🇪 👌

Horrible Service More information is in the review from Lee Barnes. So if it were a dying aunt why would the rest of your customers have decent service? It was as if we were invisible. Ireland was my dream vacation and believe me I wouldn't complain normally but this girl was rude! I don't know if it was the way my fiance and I were dressed or because we are from the states but she had a deeper issue with us. We were in Ireland for 8 days with no issues except your waitress at your restaurant. So sadly one day you did do horrible service. I could also let you know that a waiter was in the bathroom for like 30 minutes as well. Forcing male customers to use the ladies room. That to me is unacceptable however at the same time I understand if ya gotta go ya gotta go. I also like how all the people that say there is an issue with the staff (or food) you argue it. Not I'm sorry, however there is an I'm sorry but ... I see when the...

Favorite restaurant in the city! BEST pizza in Galway, hands down! I was back home to Galway for whole of December and visited Freddies 8 times. Blown away by the menu, the revamp inside and the team!

The menu is outrageously tasty. My top recommendations for dinner and lunch:

-House red wine is a must (Get the bottle) -Meatball starter! The sauce is delish -Fries with the 3 dips is a must -Carbonara pasta -Honey pepperoni pizza is my 2nd fav pizza -No1 pizza has to be the nduja sausage/blue cheese pizza. The best pizza pie I've ever tried!

We visited for lunch once when walking past to grab a quick coffee and got the chicken pesto sambo for and perched by the window to watch the footfall go past on Quay street. Such a location in the heart of the city for people watching.

Fantastic work to the Freddie crew!

See you again...

Freddy's Pizzeria in Galway is more than just a place for incredible Italian food—it's an experience made unforgettable by its extraordinary staff. The waiters here go above and beyond, ensuring every guest feels welcome and well cared for. Their attentiveness, warmth, and deep knowledge of the menu make dining at Freddy’s a true pleasure. Whether recommending the perfect wine pairing, accommodating special requests, or simply greeting guests with genuine smiles, their service is impeccable.

It’s rare to find a restaurant where the staff’s passion for hospitality shines as brightly as the food itself, but Freddy’s achieves just that. If you're looking for not only delicious cuisine but also an outstanding dining experience, this is the...
