Lana Asian Street Food — Restaurant in Galway

An absolute dissapointet. I'm in disbelief. I ordered black bean sos beef with fried egg rice but was gives an "soup", literally the sos was just an soy sauce I thought that I'm imagining but I asked my friends and they confirmed it's way too salty to be black bean I didn't want to cause a scene to the waiters because I was with friends and I am a shy person so I just ate it After consuming it my tongue was in pain for 5 hours, my stomach still feels irritated and I feel need to drink like I never seen water before, feeling of burning throat is not going away soon too I'm afraid I was visiting there about two times before, a 17 months ago and 10 months ago Let's just say that only the first one was an plesant experience, my food was okay but since that 17 months ago it seems that the quality of food is decreasing dramatically

This time yesterday, in total I paid 17,50€ for an absolute dissapointenr and irritated stomach. I'm pretty sure I could spend my money elsewhere and truly enjoy my evening with friends. I'm truly dissapointet...

We visited LANA in Galway city Sunday 7th May 2023. We ordered Singapore Noodles, Chicken Chow Mein and Vegatable Chow Mein. Both the chow main dishes were very watery and there was a predominant sweet taste throughout the dishes, bland and very ordinary, all you could taste was sweetness of some sort. The chicken in the chow mein was rubbery.

The Singapore Noodles were bland with just 3 to 4 prawns, again there was a predominant sweet tast running through the dish no other flavours could be tasted.

When we left our clothes smelt of food.

Very dissapointed for our first and last visit to LANA. If all Asian Street Food tasted like that I'm sure I wouldn't be eating it, luckily for us we know...

Quite excellent food, fast, good location. However, I feel compelled to leave a review about the staff here. From the moment my party entered the restaurant, she was extremely unfriendly. Her face was filled with irritation. When we requested an additional fork because there weren't enough on the table, she irritably rummaged through the cutlery container directly with her hands, especially the heads of the utensils, confirmed there was a shortage, and then plunked down a fork without saying any word. I was appalled by her lack of hygiene as a restaurant staff member and her unfriendliness. The other staff member was kind and did her best. I believe one staff member is ruining the...
