Chippy Chicken — Restaurant in Limerick

We have been eating Chippy Chicken for at least three years now, and over the past six months or so, the quality of the chips and chicken box has changed significantly. The chips are usually lovely and cooked properly, but the chicken has been atrocious - there's either a little handful of it in the box or there's a lot and it's undercooked. It is unacceptable to take almost a tenner for a box of chips and chicken, and have half of it inedible and thrown away. Not only does it feel like a waste of money on poorly cooked chicken, but it's also a health risk to be given such meat - the price does not match the quality. It's really disappointing and honestly disgraceful to be selling such horrible quality food with no regard for the customers well-being. We will not be ordering...

Don’t judge a book by its cover! I ordered chicken and chips box from Chippy Chicken a few times for dine in/takeaway, and I always liked it as it’s served right away.

This time, I had a delivery order (which took approx. 60mints). When I first saw the chicken strips, I thought that’s it!! They’re over cooked, dry, and not very exciting to look at.

Service and staff are amazing especially the girl at the till and phone. She was very accommodating when I explained we were placing an Uber Eats order for delivery but I would need to collect it instead. She was very kind and we were waiting no time at all. The food for me is a 4.5 as the curry sauce was a bit cold and watery, everything else was perfect especially the chicken and that comes from someone very picky.
