Myles Breen’s Bar — Restaurant in Limerick

Just popped in for a drink with my girlfriend after hearing so many people mention this pub. Asked for a pint of beer & a gin (the usual). There was no issue with my pint but the gin was being served in a slim jim glass, and the girlfriend likes the fish bowl glass, when I asked the bar tender could he transfer the gin into a bigger glass his response was I can not they are only for the premium gins. I was taken aback by this statement and thought he was joking but he was very serious. Before you enter you get the feeling of this could be good. Excellent frontage to sets you up for what's inside. The Bar inside doesn't disappoint. Beautiful old style mahogany timber bar with all the excellence of comfort and style that you would expect from a top class bar. Bar staff were excellent and the pints of Guinness were just perfect.
