U wanna know, what is the WORST WAY how to celebrate YOUR BIRTHDAY? Oh, let me tell u all story…I celebrated my birthday here at 29 of March and I booked a table for it in end of February (called by phone on google maps) for me and my friends. When we came in time and asked about our table - manager told us that they don’t have any booking for my name or on my phone number.
Then, I asked if they have any available tables, and manager told us that maybe they have some downstairs. So we gone to check it and when we asked bartender- girl told us that is not, they all booked for a big group, cuz they are not sure how many tables they exactly need. We asked her to call manager. When guy came, I asked again to check reservations and try to find my name or phone number. He asked me how i booked it and I told him that I call them 1 month ago. After that he asked me if I texted on their email 👏 He’s gone for 20-30 minutes and didn’t back. We’re literally just standing near one of the tables all this time and try to find something.
After 30 minutes me and my friends go back upstairs try to find manager, cuz he didn’t back and didn’t say nothing, if he found something or not.
He told us that all tables are busy. And that’s it👏 when we start asking how they plan to fix it - he said just that he is sorry… And when I asked him can we stay if we found something he said that we can 👌
So we decided to stay cuz: 1) I wanted to celebrate there 2) it was Friday night, and of course it’s almost 0 chance to find anything else available in this time in Limerick for company.
Before all this situation, I loved this place but after… sorry lads, your bartenders and waiters are lovely but that guy killed the atmosphere: 1) he even didn’t try to fix problem (said “I’m sorry” doesn’t fix it), 2) he didn’t propose any ways to fix it 3) he’s gone to check information and didn’t back to say anything 4) we didn’t get any compliments or whatever as apologies for that situation, cuz I called for 1 months before my birthday and someone lost my booking - it’s not my fault. She never offered me anything els other than alcohol, she never asked am I ordering food she never offered non alcoholic beverages ( Fanta ,coke , 7 up ) I replied with ok so I will leave out of fustration she walked away then and I rang my partner to say I have been told to leave as I am not drinking alcohol , I walked back up to the bar then and said actually I will have a drink I will have a bottle of coke and she stared at me looked me up and down again and said ok she will get it for you , looking at the other staff behind the bar which is lovely. Dear Management,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at your restaurant on [date]. My companion and I entered the establishment and ordered drinks. Upon completing our initial beverages, we requested a second round. However, when the waiter brought the drinks, he placed them far from our reach, causing one of the beverages to spill onto the floor as we attempted to retrieve it. Not only did I not consume a single sip from the spilled drink, but when I requested a replacement, your staff refused and insisted that I pay for the drink that had been wasted on the floor.
This level of negligence and refusal to rectify the situation is unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect to receive proper service and be treated with respect. The fact that I was forced to pay for a drink that was never consumed due to the restaurant's error is simply outrageous.
I demand a refund for the spilled drink and an apology for the inconvenience and disrespect I experienced during my visit. Furthermore, I hope that steps will be taken to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future and that your staff receive proper training in customer service.
