Firstly! Praise be! ... We can get GREAT Japanese cuisine in Wexico! I went home this afternoon to have the best food coma nap I've had in quite a while! :-) The atmosphere is chilled and relaxed... The service is absolutely perfect... A great front of house crew... Two great guys had things running like clockwork!... I was given wonderful insight into the amazing menu - they were so on their game and genuinely proud of it. Thank you! ... A lovely lady came in later, I assume was the Manager... well the happy and positive vibe I witnessed with the banter she had with her crew was just wonderful :-) A happy team there no doubt! ... Ok... on to the food... Needless to say, I woke up after my food coma nap thinking of my next visit! ... The food was just wonderful... The highlight for me... The Seaweed Salad, Prawn Gyoza, Miso Soup... The Spider Roll with soft shell crab! YUM (that's what sent me into a coma ;-) ) ... The only constructive comment I would make... The Sashimi was a bit too chilled (I think the flavour of sashimi is dulled when served too cold) The octopus and the squid were quite tough... A1 for the salmon, seabass and Tuna... Overall... Nori with it's wonderful menu, food and crew is now on my favourite list in Wexford....

Don’t like writing this because this is actually my favourite restaurant in town and the food is great but last night my sister and I had a table booked for 19:00, arrived in at 19:05, ordered at 19:10. Beer, edamame, katsu and bento. Restaurant was full when we ordered. 2 chefs, 2 waitresses. Beer came about 10 mins later, edamame came about 20 mins later. At about 19:40 we realised we’d been waiting for 30 mins so we asked. Waitress said kitchen is low on staff, and it should be 10 more minutes. No other communication from waitresses the whole time, not even to tell us there would be a delay. We saw them talking together and not doing much. 10 more minutes go by and I went to the counter to check, again no information given to us, just kitchen is busy. Half the people are and left at this point. 20:00 comes and my sister and I go to leave and cancel the order. I’ve never had to wait 50 mins for food before, but it was the lack of communication from the staff that was terrible. Really shocked because this genuinely is my favourite restaurant and the...

Very dissapointed! We ordered sushi rolls for take away as a birthday dinner. 2 of rolls were ordered regular size, 2 rolls - special. Special rolls cost us between 21 and 23 euros each. To say we were shocked to see that special roll is same size as the normal sushi roll that cost us around 12 euros, is to say nothing. 4 sushi rolls and tempura prawns cost us over 90 euros. Tempura prawns were not ordered. I ordered Ebi tempura roll, but we got 4 tempura fried prawns instead. We told staff that it wasnt ordered, they said - well its on the list, so it was ordered. Taste of sushi was good, there is no complaint about that. Our dissapointment is about special rolls. We have had Dragon roll and Rainbow roll in other Sushi restaurants in Ireland, and I have to say, other places have the size of the roll worth paying 23 euros for it. 8 regular size roll pieces are not...

Just went with my partner to pick up a sashimi platter and when we found out that we got "crab" sticks we could not believe it. I ringed and let them know, but the guy on the phone just played dumb, not even customer service skills. Ok that, even being in Wexford, most of the fish is farm-raised -salmon, sea bass- ok even that there was no tako octopus as expected, and as the guy in the phone confirmed... but getting (and paying for) surimi instead of sashimi is quite a crime for a sushi place... can't believe the good reviews... maybe they were just lame enough to substitute the tako octopus for the surimi sticks expecting take away customers to eat whatever or let it go, maybe dining in they would have behaved different... but anyways, shame on them 恥 恥を知れ

The place has barely changed since Mi moved, and as I understood it, their old chief is in charge of the new kitchen, so we had very high hopes as we absolutely loved sushis back when they were still available at Mi. We were far from disappointed, but not amazed either : sushis were well presented, fresh, and tasty, but we felt like they were not anything special compared to some experience we had in other restaurant, especially if you consider that they are quite pricey (maybe the most pricey I ever paid). It is still a good address to enjoy sushis in Wexford, but I don't know if I will personally go back.
