We visited this restaurant for dinner during our summer holiday.
The waitress was polite and helpful, especially when guiding us through the menu.
We ordered the chef's special pasta, but unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations in terms of taste and under cooked.
Upon receiving the bill, we noticed several unexpected charges-items such as tablecloth fees for €9 and a €3 charge for tap water. We've dined in many other restaurants in the area including Amalfi and Atrani, and have never encountered such charges before, which made this experience particularly disappointing.
While we could have contacted local authorities regarding these questionable extras, we chose not to pursue it as we preferred to focus on enjoying our holiday.
Overall, our experience at this restaurant was unsatisfactory, and we would not recommend it.
UPDATE 14:30
We left the remaining pasta on the plate due to concerns about its quality, and photos are available upon request. While your demeanor was polite and professional, it is the responsibility of the restaurant manager or owner to ensure complete transparency—especially regarding pricing.
We were not informed of any additional charges, which is unacceptable. Such details should be clearly stated on every page of the menu in English, particularly when serving international customers. The lack of disclosure is not only misleading, but also unethical.
Tourists and guests deserve honesty, not unexpected fees.
I will not anymore respond to your comments as any reader could judge...
Read moreThis restaurant should have Michelin stars!! It was by far the best meal I’ve had in Italy, and it is family run by the hard-working class of Pogerola, Amalfi. We ate a four course tasting meal whose flavors were a complete surprise and it was so delicious, we can’t stress this restaurant enough.
For an appetizer, we ate a delicious calamari salad. Then for the first entree, a pumpkin risotto with Gorgonzola cheese and lemon zest. For the second entree, seared tuna and delicious vegetables. Also, they were more than happy to accommodate my friend’s vegetarian diet. Then for dessert, we had a delicious cherry cream fried biscuit treat!
The restaurant is a little hidden, but do not let that stop you from enjoying a beautiful meal on their beautiful terrace! We saw amazing views of Amalfi and met the most sweetest server, Rosa, who is extremely hard working and walks 240 steps from and to work!
We highly recommend this place, as it completely enhanced our experience of Amalfi. Please, please go and eat...
Read moreIt is now my third time I eat in this great restaurant. I could not have asked for a better food experience. I am native of the Amalfi coast, Italian and used to our Italian tastes. The filet, the fish dishes, the pizzas offers are simply the best. The food choice is limited to 10 choices per course. But all are at its best! Prepared in a nice looking way, but most, taste so delicious. A nice great touch are the cakes! Oh My God, so delicious. I felt prices are in line with the high quality of the offered food, absolutely reasonable. I will keep on eating there. It is now my favorite of the area. And it is also very easy to park around there, no need to go crazy on where to leave your car, as it is instead anywhere else along the...
