Incredible experience at this restaurant in Bari with my mom for her birthday! It was truly one of the best places I've ever been, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bari.

We arrived at the restaurant we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the owner and staff who immediately allocated us to the queue, that surprisedly was moving quickly - we only had to wait for about 5 minutes before being seated outside. The outdoor seating was perfect, as it was a hot summer evening and the breeze was lovely.

What really stood out was the locals who were dining there. You could tell that this was a traditional, authentic spot in Bari town.

The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel like we were part of the family. Francesca, was amazing. She spoke English with us and took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations.

Alessio, another staff member, even offered us a complimentary dish, the Spaghetti all’assassina, which was a nice touch.

The atmosphere was lively and fun, with a great vibe that made us feel like we were in the heart of Bari.

The menu was extensive and delicious, with so many options to choose from. We ended up ordering way too much food because everything sounded so good! But honestly, we didn't regret it one bit.

The food was absolutely amazing. We loved every single dish we ordered, and the portions were generous to say the least.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Baresana in Bari, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our waiter went above and beyond by giving us excellent recommendations on which pizza to choose, showcasing their knowledge and passion for their offerings.

One particularly thoughtful gesture was when the waiter brought over a chair specifically for our bags so they didn't have to sit on the ground. This level of attentiveness and care truly enhanced our dining experience.

The Neapolitan pizza we ordered was outstanding. The crust was perfectly charred and chewy, the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the overall taste was authentic and delicious. It's clear that La Baresana takes great pride in their craft.

Absolutely terrible service. Poor English. We ordered bruschettas and pizzas and a pasta. After waiting what seemed like eternity we received a pasta and no other dish. We had to ask for them to come and they brought the pizzas and bruschetta at the same time which made no sense. It was like one hour and a half that we were waiting for our food and they did not bring one pizza and we had to ask for it again, it was so late we asked for take away - I received the pizza after everyone at the table finished eating. It came on the plate so we had to ask again to put it in a box. The bruschetta was burned as well. After two hours I did not get to eat my food and as we were sitting outside for two hours we were freazing cold so we wanted to just leave the place as fast as we could, we asked for the bill when the last pizza came and we waited for another 20 min for it to come. Absolutely disgusting experience. They made us pay half of the service bill, so made a 5% discount. We shouldn’t have to pay anything for the service for what we have received. They said sorry and gave us free limoncello. I...
