There aren't enough stars for this place! We took 3 sandwiches "to go" and besides the fact that they are huge, the only thing stopping you from eating more is the stomach when is more than full. I hardly could finish one sandwich and I was hungry. My wife only ate half. We jad 2 prosciutto cotto medievale and one mortadela artigianale. There was a goooood amount of meat and cheese inside, and the semi-dried tomatoes gave the incredible flavour that I could not get enough of it. The "mortadela artigianale" has some onion and pistachios and the flavour, again, divine! The man who prepared them is an Albanian man and I have to say that we haven't seen such a kind man in the whole area of Puglia. Helpful and funny, a very nice guy who really takes care of his business. I would give any pasta or pizza I had in Italy for a sandwich...

We'd had lunch at Pieno o Ripieno yesterday and it was PERFECT. I'll start with the service, as Roberto deserves all the praise in the world. He's a genuinely kind person that knows his food (and wine, as this is also what you can buy here). Roberto made us feel very welcome and made the visit even better. Now for the sandwiches themselves. They were absolutely mouthwatering. Quality of ingredients is top class. Roberto offers some unique cheeses that we've not seen anywhere else. Meat choices are great and all the condiments, like olive paste, sundried tomatoes, etc. are fantastic and delicious. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area. GRAZIE...
