The restaurant is placed right under the iconic Due Torri in Bologna and has a beautiful terrace directly that faces them, proving an almost unique experience while dining. The interiors are all modern, sleek and clean, and with the terrace being difficult to find a table in because of how crowdy it gets they make for an overall ok alternative. The biggest downside is probably its food though, and with Bologna being a city so famous for its typical dishes it's a shame that the food quality is not on par with the rest. Dishes are still ok and definitely enjoyable, but due to how popular the place is one would expect them to be a bit better: they're not bad in any reason, but if you're looking for a fine place to dine and enjoy quality food look somewhere else. Table service is also inexistent: not only you're required to go pick up your order, but they also require you to get everything off the table once you're done (the waiters were also pretty rude in asking us to do so too). Granted the food is not that exceptional, at least the price is not too high and finding a table on the terrace is probably the only way you're gonna be able to have lunch right under...
Read moreIt’s a fresh pasta fast food with some of the thickest tagliatelle i experienced in Italy. We went there because of the high reviews. Ordering was cumbersome and even tho a bar tender tried helping - she couldn’t figure what was what because the item description on the kiosks were almost absent. We ordered a “green” meal. The salad started with crumbled bacon / pork but the entree was a tiny bowl of tortellini. Came with water and an espresso. When placing our food order AT the kitchen counter one of the ladies helped us order pasta without meat - but we had to pay extra for 25 gms cheese. Yet this came without cheese. Very long wait between ordering and pick up for the hot food. Because only one cook was sauteeing pastas. Seemed like staff changed often. As we were leaving there was a guy in black suit standing near stairs - not sure if he was monitoring people occupying free strays or he was a manager - but he could not tell me the difference between 3 kinds of sugar packets they had.
Not recommended. And last place for a vegetarian...
Read moreAverage food, good for quick lunch, but definetely won't let you taste real 'italian' cusine. In the same prices you can eat in the local restaurants, maybe not as much (portions in the restaurant are slightly smaller), but definetely better food. In both cases your stomach will be full though😉
I ate there tortellini with sour cream and cheese - the topping should be addition, but instead it looked like I had cream-cheese-tortellini soup. Way too much, sauce quantity definitely should be reduced here. Also I do not like that you pick up food in one section, drinks in second, and often they do not complete full order (simply forget to add salad etc.), So you have to go there and ask for missing plate. Not okay. It happened to me, my sister, and ladies in the table next to us. I'm not sure, if we were just unlucky or the service is generally like that.
Recommended only if all surrounding local restaurants are closed due to siesta.
PS. Good for buying fresh made pasta (on weight). This option I can...
