Best restaurant we went to in Italy. We are foodies and love seafood. We had: shaken salad.. not what we expected but was light and lovely flavour. Sea urchin and black garlic pasta. Shelled crustacean pasta. Both extremely good flavour, pasta cooked perfectly. Hubby loved the 1st which was heavier in flavour due to the black garlic, this one was a unique dish. I loved the 2nd, the sauce was the perfect mix of butter and some tomatoes. Now don't get me wrong, we both loved both just liked one a tad better. We also had the whole fish which was cooked to perfection, not dry, not floating in butter including the vegetables. The mixed berry puffed pastry was awesome, not too sweet. Pistachio parfait with pear sauce was exceptional. Also not too sweet and not overpowering. The waitress was very pleasant and had great suggestions. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant and low key and there were no other tourists in sight. We paid a fair amount as we ordered quite a few things as every bite was exquisite but we have had a more expensive restaurant in Siena... So not a truly expensive place, but we did order seafood and got quality. This was truly the best restaurant so far in Italy, we truly...

The quality of the seafood is good. Go here for the raw flavours (oysters, raw prawns) - it was very fresh.... But sadly, nothing else. The lobster pasta and sea urchin pasta lacked flavour. The skewers were decent, and well prepared. But none of the "combined dishes" were (i.e anything more complex than just the oysters) they lacked of flavour completely. The service was beyond poor. Need cutlery with your dish? Then ask once... twice... (after food have been served). Then go get your own cutlery. Happened twice... Three of four of the waiters were sadly just unfriendly. Prices were OK and definitely in line with the quality of the raw ingredients, and great decor. But when service is unfriendly it just takes down the experience. Maybe you can go for some oysters and a quick glass of wine and then continue to one of the many other lovely seafood...

Servizio Molto attento, cordiale e professionale.

Devo dire tutto ottimo.Pesce fresco e ben cucinato.

In sintesi ottima qualità, bel posto e buona ospitalità.

Although we had a good dinner, we got an overpriced bill with 40€ for the calamari starter of the picture. When asking for explanation they argued that they had put more than the usual, but without giving notice of the expected price increase and still the portion being overpriced they offer to lower to 30€ (which, we coming from Spain, is still way overpriced...). The expectation from the good reviews was broken. No offer to recover, we won't come back and this adds to a series of overprices in the area of Bologne. Fed up of It.
