Unfortunately it was a disappointing dinner experience in total. The food is good, 4 out of our 5 courses were nice. 2 good, 2 really excellent. The 5th unfortunately for us really not good (pork belly - it was 100% fat, literally not a single millimeter of meat). But the issue was more the room and the service. The room because it was so hot. It got quite uncomfortable. And the service was not paying much attention. When drinks were empty, nobody ever asked if we want anything else. Generally nobody checked for any wishes. And when I did need to leave my pork belly more or less untouched on the plate, they couldn’t care less. From a restaurant of this level I would expect different standards. I ordered an alternative dish then and in the end we paid full price for it as an on top main course (more expensive even vs just going for 6 instead of 5 course tasting menu from the start). Sure, they do not need to give it out for free, but for the prices you pay here, I would expect a little bit...
Read moreGood experience but rather too expensive for what it is. The flavor combinations in the food are innovative and surprise your mouth at most times but some of them fall short. They have nothing to drink other than bottled water and wine, and as a person who cannot drink alcohol medically, the lack of consideration to have some alcohol free options felt strange for a nicer restaurant that should consider limitations of diners. As well as the 4 course tasting menu took well over 2:30 hours to be finished. They offered us a free aperitivo and after my second clarification of not being able to drink alcohol just said “okay” and we waited. The sardines and ravioli were okay, the beef carpaccio was outstanding and so was the marshmallow/plum combination. The braised beef was also delicious. The service was strange. Maybe due to a language barrier so I cannot comment, but the whole experience in itself felt not quite up...
Read moreOne of the best meals we had in Sardinia! I can still dream of the tempura and the sashimi dish!! The homemade breadsticks were also so good. The service was excellent! The waiter was very friendly and helpful and it was nice to speak with the chef. We've ate a lot more, but did not take a picture of every dish. I think that we got a lot more quality than the price that we've paid that night. The chef really likes to explore and we really appreciated the diversity in every dish. Highly recommended restaurant and i would consider flying to Cagliari sometime to enjoy their food again!
Will be back in June :D
Edit: unfortunately the location in the city is temporarily closed. I will visit the Poetto location and leave a...
