I'm not British, nor am I Indian or ever been to India. But I have had the opportunity to taste Indian cuisine in many places and not only in Sardinia. Some English people here spoke of food not being exactly as in India, despite their knowledge of Indian cuisine runs no further than the curry they had in some Indian restaurant in uk. lets make this clear. Every cuisine is the best in it's own country. Once a dish steps out of it's creed it starts to adapt to be palatable for the locals where it is served. Read morePro: they made the butter chicken with paneer instead of chicken upon my request. friendly staff great mango lassi
Con: rice is not included in the price, one portion is 4€ extra - which I think is a lot for rice. It’s also just plain rice, not cooked with spices and ginger like in most indian restaurants I know. The dishes do not have the typical strong flavour of indian food. I found them rather bland, even with added spicy sauce. My butter paneer tasted more like paneer with creamy tomato sauce. Like other reviews already stated, if you are used to indian food from other places around europe you will be disappointed. My partner ordered the spinach cream curry with paneer and it tasted the same as my butter paneer, which is a shame. It was still good food, but disappointing if you expect flavourful...

It’s a tricky dish to make, and when I confronted the owner they agreed that it would take a long time to cook biryani properly. I would probably take it off the menu since whatever they served tastes pretty bad and is also not a biryani anyway. 1/5
vindaloo: this tasted more like butter chicken curry and was lacking the tanginess and spicyness of a traditional vindaloo curry. Avoid ordering it. 1/5
