Fantastically fresh curries which tasted amazing, and all at very reasonable prices. The family who own this restaurant deserve a lot of credit for their hard work and friendliness. We chose to dine here because of the excellent Trip Advisor reviews and we were blown away by the food and service. Chicken Tikka Masala and Biryani were both packed with flavour and they even asked us how hot we would like each dish - which is a lovely touch for those who don't like it too spicy. Dishes came out really quickly and were piping hot. They have a nice selection of beers to go with your food and we were even offered a little shot after the meal to aid digestion. WOW! Now this is what I call indian cuisine at it's best. I used to go to another indian restaurant but lately they started to be less... accurate and the cooks became less conscious of the quality they are suposed to offer. So when I saw Punjabi's I was like: OMG I must test it. I hope it'll be good. One simple example: the naan bread... Punjabis is mildly crispy and the right thickness not a chewy thik loaf. Chicken Tika ... deliciously balanced. Everything rise to the expectations. I hope they'll thrive and be able to do some minor fixes to the dining rooms. Overal ambience is perfectly indian street restaurant style and atmo.
