YATAI 屋台 Japanese Street Food — Restaurant in Cagliari

I visited this restaurant with two friends on July 25. It’s a small place with decor that really feels like you're stepping into a little spot in Japan.

What made the biggest impression on us was the staff — they were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. They made us feel at home and were always happy to help.

We ordered 3 rice meals, 2 dorayaki pancakes, and 1 veggie side. Every dish was delicious, well-portioned, and arrived quickly.

Prices were fair, service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was calm and pleasant. If you're looking for good Japanese food with great vibes, this place is definitely worth a visit! 😘

Wow - this restaurant brought back memories of Japan. After living there for 10 years we are very fussy when it comes to Japanese food. The Japanese owner is very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We love that the menu changes every Monday and can’t wait to return. It is also excellent value. With only 2 small benches to eat in at, we were lucky to have one become available. I can’t wait to get katsu curry...

excellent food. I had karage (fried chicken) and katsudon (friedpig with rice), i couldn't finish it all: very tasty and freshly made. It's a street food concept, not a restaurant, so very small place with just 4 and 2 seat tables, but worth it. just a suggestion i can give is to serve food with real plates and leaving the paper plates for take out only (just a minor...
