During our visit to Capri, my friends and I were drawn to this place due to its popularity and the enticing offer of free Lemoncello slush. Intrigued, we decided to dine in, and although the prices were on par with the average in the tourist-heavy area, they still felt a bit steep, reminiscent of premium prices you might find in central London rather than Italy.

The main draw seemed to be the spectacular views and prime location rather than the food itself. The Lemoncello slush was a refreshing treat, and the overall experience was more enjoyable than the actual dining. It felt like we were paying for the ambiance and the privilege of soaking in the surroundings rather than for an exceptional culinary experience.

While the prices were a bit on the higher side, I did find the food somewhat underwhelming. The dishes were a bit bland and lacked the excitement I was hoping for in Italian cuisine. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating, adding a positive note to our overall experience.

In summary, our time at this place in Capri was enjoyable, largely thanks to the ambiance and friendly staff. However, the food left something to be desired, the portion was small and it felt like we were paying for the location rather than a truly memorable...

If there were negative stars, I would select that. My family walked in to buy T-shirts as souvenirs and after selecting the products, I left my husband to pay and walked out with my 3 children by the door as the store was getting crowded. The guy thought we were leaving without buying so he started yelling at my husband you took 30 minutes now you are leaving. My husband tried to explain they just stepped out to make space but instead he dumped all what we chose (7items) on the counter and shoved the bag in a drawer and started putting the shirts back on the shelf. All this while yelling in a ridiculous voice to leave I don’t want your money GET OUT GET OUT. There was an Italian man who tried to help us and even told us to go get him the police and he will translate but we are on vacation for goodness sake we just walked out and when I looked at the online rating of 2.0 it made sense that this place is just awful. By the way the guy...

Lemon sorbet in a lemon rind is €8 for take away but €12 for dine in. We ordered 3 with a male waiter but a female waiter brought 4. When we said we only ordered 3, she said we needed to speak to the waiter. After calling him several times and being ignored we decided to just bite the bullet because it’s an extremely busy area and we were ready to leave this chaotic restaurant despite having just been seated.

The waiter that took our payment was extremely rude and snatched our receipt from my hand when I asked why the prices on the receipt were so inflated from the menu. He was angry about being questioned, I suppose.

The female WC is single occupancy...

Yes it was very expensive, there is no doubt. It was the first place that we saw after we arrived in the town from the ferry. We paid €25 (£21) for a Limoncello Spritz and a large refreshing daught beer, which is alot (we paid €4.50 for a large beer & €6 for a Limoncello Spritz in Sorrento) but the waiter was funny, he was helpful & he was entertaining. He wasn't abrupt, he certainly wasn't grumpy, his service was quick and he gave us a map of the town to help us find our way. So the interaction was good. The prices I guess are the norm on Capri, however the happy service isn't.
