GnamGnam Food — Restaurant in Catania

It's an interesting place, I really liked the look of it. There is no waiter, you have to order at the counter, you have to write down what you want to order on a piece of paper. It is true that we were there during the Sant Agatha celebration, but we managed to prepare our dough very slowly. Those who came after us already paid and left, we were still waiting. By the way, the pasta was delicious...but not outstanding. The tiramisu, however, was very delicious. Apparently, the cookies are really made by hand...

I live in Catania and I eat there often and I send people there when they ask for breakfast place. the food is and always has been amazing. service always ridiculously slow. like waiting 20 min for a cappucino and muffin that you need to get up to get. so what took 20 min? putting it on a plate? with two tables there??? i have no idea where they take staff from but its always been the case. great food and very bad...

Pessimo servizio. Vado per fare colazione ordinando due cornetti e due caffè al tavolo. Mi si dice di attendere "qualche minuto perché appena aperto". Vabbè... Dopo 20 minuti l'unica ragazza presente nel locale stava ancora servendo due turisti che erano lì pure da prima di noi, e che avevano facce palesemente desolate. Chiedo a che punto siamo, e capisco che i miei cornetti non erano nemmeno ancora in programma. Decidiamo di andarcene. Nello stesso arco di tempo arrivo da Savia (locale pieno), mangio cornetto e caffè serviti al tavolo, mi alzo, pago, e vado via con due arancini take away, cosa che forse avrei fatto pure qui con due fette di torta.

Questo per far capire con che leggerezza si perdono clienti in tempi in cui la crisi dovrebbe farti agire nell'esatto contrario. Il cibo sarà pure buono, ma aspettare 20 minuti con un locale vuoto per una colazione che poi diventa un brunch, in centro a Catania, non è tollerabile.

Mi dispiace perché, anche in base ad altre recensioni, penso che la ragazza sia da sola ogni giorno, e questo avrà sicuramente avuto i suoi effetti anche con altri clienti. Il servizio è fondamentale. Poi non ci lamentiamo quando anche i posti con cibo buono chiudono perché non ci...
