Koicha Room — Restaurant in Como

Found this little gem in Como after a google search. You would never find it off the street as it’s literally a door where you take a lift up to the rooftop. Gorgeous modern restaurant with great all you can eat buffet prices. Huge menu with lots of choices, staff speak English and the service is top notch. Even more, there’s a terrace either side of the restaurant with panoramic views. Even the music is relaxing.

Unfortunately the food service was very slow and a few mistakes made but the staff apologised and explained it was due to a staff shortage and they tried their best which was evident.

Food is good quality for the price but not the most amazing sushi you’ll ever eat.

Koicha Room in Como was such a great find! The price-to-quality ratio is exceptional, and the vibe of the place really stood out to me. We went on a sunny weekend without a reservation and still got a table outside with a stunning view of the cathedral. The all-you-can-eat option was perfect, easy ordering, delicious food, and friendly staff.

We also came back one night for cocktails, which were excellent and very reasonably priced. I loved that they even served little snack plates with the drinks. The mix of a modern setting with views of the old city really made the experience special.

Update on previous comment: I received not respectful response from the stuff of the restaurant. They even haven’t apologized for being unhelpful and misbehaving with me and my family and refused to help with table. I explained that it’s impossible to write message with special request via Google (photo attached) and I received response “we don’t know, but some people can do this, so we don’t know how” I consider this as disrespect and unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable!
