Ammare - Poke e Panini di Mare — Restaurant in Como

We've been to Ammare (receipt says Como Street Food SRL) 4-5 times during the past year and it's been one of our kids' preferred restaurants. Although we've generally been happy with the quality of the food, our experience yesterday left much to be desired. The tuna in my Poke bowl didn't look fresh (mushy) and the avocados were brown and inedible. I put the questionable food aside and mentioned the experience to the cashier, indicating this was our first negative experience. I expected an apology and/or a discount for the food that was inedible. He offered neither. Aside from the owner needing to ramp up their customer service training, they also succeeded in losing a customer. Came here to meet friends for the football game and had ordered over 100 euros worth of drinks between myself and my boyfriend, the people we were meeting had been here all day drinking 11 hours to be accurate. The establishment menu didn’t have anything I would like so I got myself a McDonald’s came back and was eating my burger and one of the blonde waiting staff told me ‘if you want to eat, you will eat our food’ disgusting attitude when spending the money we have spent, have seen other reviews also saying the same thing about the abrupt staff here, waiting 20 mins for a drink whilst the staff were inside eating chips - unprofessional and not a...

Despite filling in the simple tick box form, my wife's "poke" bowl came without the salad and sauce that she ordered. The waiting staff were very abrupt when dealing with her, but they did eventually bring her the salad in a separate bowl, which was dumped, unceremoniously, on the table without comment or apology. Otherwise, the staff were polite and accommodating.

The food itself was delicious. I had the chicken burger, which was excellent 😋.

Limoncello spritzer was potent 🤪.
