I asked for pasta with sea food and the pastas there cost about 20 Euro. For drinks, I requested one Coca-Cola.
The waiter was kind and polite and I enjoyed the river view. But, I was surprised when he served things that I did not order such as bread and butter. ThenI thought it is not a problem. Maybe it is the hospitality style of the restaurant. And if it will cost me extra, it will not be a big deal. Unfortunately, when I requested the bill. The total price was 54 Euro. Yes, I paid 54 Euro for an Okay pasta, other snack (butter and bread) and a Coca-Cola! I could not believe that! Like really? Even the fork and knife I was eating with are not clean enough (there were white spots of dried water). It was not a classy or a high-end restaurant.
It sounded like this is the robbing method of the resturant to foreigners because he did the same to a bunch of Americans who only ordered some wine and cocktails, but he served many other things without asking! You can imagine how their bill would be.
Those kind of restaurants and people are very greedy and harm the reputation of their country. This was not the only restaurant did that to me in Florence. The city was beautiful and I liked it. However, I will definitely not go back to a place where I feel myself as a...

Waiters and waitresses were very nice but the experience was terrible. The place was not busy and nevertheless the service was very slow. They messed up the orders and brought our group's food at different times. We asked for some basic salt and olive oil, which should normally be on the table (especially if you order salads and vegetables), but it took ages to come. Food to share came with no plates, when plates arrived some forks and knifes were missing. 20 € pizzas were tasteless (we had to add salt to try make them eatable), 30 € burgers were made with poor quality meat, tasteless and very hard. The location is beautiful, we were given a table under a glass conservatory: unfortunately the curtains were not fully working and at a certain point kids had to leave the table because the sun was too strong and the temperature too high. If your curtains don't work you should not give tables in a conservatory on a sunny 30° day...
Read moreMy wife & I visited Harry's one evening while on vacation. Even though it was very hot (mid July 2015), my wife wanted to eat outside. We ordered some wine and 2 of their "famous burgers". Our server was excellent. Unfortunately, when our burgers arrived - both burgers were not as ordered. I tried to eat my burger - but it was totally raw! After several unsuccessful attempts to have one of their staff respond, I stopped eating. When the manager finally came over I told him, I couldn't eat my burger because it was raw. He looked at the burger - apologized and took it away. Totally, disappointed, I requested the bill. The manager returned with the bill, that indicated he had discounted our (almost $100) bill by $7..... $7 dollars ???- for a $27 burger I couldn't eat !!! Are you kidding me! DON'T...
