Shirāz Ristorante — Restaurant in Florence

We had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! We ordered the Khoresht Ghormeh Sabzi, Kubideh, and a Salad Shirazi—and overall, the food was delicious and clearly made with care. The Ghormeh Sabzi had a perfect blend of herbs and tanginess. The Salad Shirazi was a little on the salty side, but the flavor was still great—fresh, light, and a nice contrast to the richer dishes.

The Kubideh was good—tender and nicely grilled—but we felt it could have been a bit juicier and more flavorful. It has the potential to be even better with just a bit more attention to seasoning and texture. Also, the service around this dish could be improved—maybe a touch more attentiveness or explanation would’ve made the experience even better. Still a solid item, and we’d give it a 4 out of 5.

One of the best Persian food experiences in Florence! We tried the Kabob Kubideh and Gheymeh, and both were perfect. The Gheymeh was especially authentic, without the unusual spices or flavors often found outside of Iran—it tasted just like home. The Kabob Kubideh was also delicious, truly reminiscent of the traditional taste from Iran.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the owner, who is also the chef, truly pours his heart into every dish. You can taste the passion and authenticity in every bite.

Don’t miss out on the "Shir Berenj" for dessert—it's made by the owner's wife with love and care, and you can absolutely taste the difference. It's the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal!

Today I had lunch with a group of friends at Shiraz Persian food restaurant in Florence, Italy. I have to admit that it was a pleasant surprise. The food was exquisite, hospitality was excellent and ambience was outstanding. I do not have word enough to describe the delicious food that we had. We started with appetizers of “Kashk Bademjan” and “Mirza Ghasemi”, both of them out of this world and were served with a kind of “Lavash Bread”. For main dish we had “Chelo Kabab”, the traditional Persian dish that is loved over by anybody who had ever experienced it. The dish was abundantly served and garnished. For dessert we had traditional Persian Ice cream with Zafron and it was delicious.
