The food here was PHENOMENAL!! We went back two nights in a row because the food was so delicious. They have a slogan that says "probably the best steak in Florence" and I 1,000% agree. I had the bistecca alla fiorentina nella costola (dry-aged ribeye) and I don't think I've ever had better steak in my life. My family had the petto di pollo alla griglia con rucola e grana (grilled chicken) and entrecote ai funghi porcini (sirloin with mushrooms) and they cleaned their plates, which they never do. The sirloin and mushrooms were seasoned well and the chicken was perfectly tender and moist. The second night, I had the ravioli di ricotta e spinaci di ricotta in salsa tartufata (ricotta and spinach ravioli) and it was absolutely delicious. We don't usually order dessert, but we had to try their pannacotta frutti di bosco and tiramisu. The taste and texture were hands down the best we've ever tried. The servers were brothers and they recognized us from the first day and treated us very well. They took excellent care of us. I would recommend this place to everyone in the Florence area. We will definitely be back if we are ever in...

We indulged in three standout dishes: the Trippa alla Fiorentina (a traditional cow stomach lining stew), a pepper steak and pasta with a rich, flavorful wild boar sauce. Each dish was a masterpiece in its own right. The Trippa was tender and expertly seasoned, the pepper steak was cooked to perfection with just the right kick of spice, and the pasta with wild boar sauce was hearty and satisfying, bursting with bold, earthy flavors.
Beyond the exceptional food, the service was impeccableāattentive yet unobtrusive, making us feel like cherished guests. And for the quality of the dishes, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, offering fantastic value for money.
Whether you're a local or a traveler exploring Florence, this restaurant deserves a spot on your itinerary. Highly recommended for its incredible food, great prices, and top-notch service. A true culinary delight in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTrattoria Verdi is definitely one of the best restaurants in Florence l've been to so far! As a study abroad student, l've tried multiple places and I have to say, the food here is just fantastic, especially their dry-aged steaks that is unlike any Florentine steak you've ever had while also being competitively priced. The atmosphere is homey and warm which can be attributed to the welcoming brothers who work there. It is always a pleasure having a conversation with them and they give out good recommendations and are very accommodating. They are conveniently located near the Santa Croce Church and have a small outdoor seating area for sunny days and fresh air. This restaurant is definitely special and has made my weekly visit list. Also they may or may not have the best panna cotta in Florence, definitely...
