Peruzzi Firenze — Local services in Florence

Unacceptable products and horrible customer service!!! I do not recommend Peruzzi leather shop. I purchased many gift items here, including a leather bag for myself, based solely on my tour company's recommendation (Insight Tours). The very day I purchased it I noticed the entire zipper had left a discoloration imprint along both sides of the leather closure. I immediately notified my tour director, who contacted Peruzzi immediately. I remained in Italy another two weeks and this company NEVER sent me an email or attempted to resolve the situation. I had to continue to reach out once I had returned home before I even received an email from this company to acknowledge the problem and flaws in the bag. Now we are in an email battle due to Peruzzi's refusal to handle the replacement of the bag in a fair manner. They clearly do not stand behind their inferior products, in spite of their stated "guarantee". I agree with the previous customer (j chiaro) -- Insight, Trafalgar and any other major tour companies who recommended this store should definitely rethink their stance until this company can learn (if ever) to appropriately resolve situations with their...

Love Peruzzi's own brand items - you pay for quality and not brand, unlike a lot of the designer stuff that seems to take up the majority of the store. The purses and wallet that I got are fantastic, better than all the other shops I've visited in the area (and I only visit highly rated or recommended shops). If its not own brand, however, you may be able to find the same thing for cheaper elsewhere. I found a purse in Venice exactly like the one I'd bought in peruzzi, except the asking price was almost half of peruzzi. Peruzzi had given me a decent discount on my items which brought the price down to almost the same as the shop in Venice (the one in Venice refused discounts), but if you don't get any discounts then you could be paying double for the same purse. Staff at peruzzi were very friendly and helpful, and it was a very pleasant shopping experience. The shopping environment can be a little rough at times because of rude chinese tourists obnoxiously yelling their way through the store but if the staff can put up with that on a daily basis then I can put up with it...

My mother and myself will NEVER be back to this store and we will make sure to tell others who come to Florence to also avoid this shop. We came to the store with trafalgar tours and were given a small discount, although there were so many staff me members not many came up to us to help us find anything or shop. Then once we made a purchase and went to get the initials put on the purse that’s when our worst experience happened. The old grumpy man who was working the initial station was RUDE and gave no guidance whatsoever on what he wanted us to do and when. Instead when we handed him my mothers purse we didn’t do it fast enough and he yelled at us then skipped to the person behind us in line. Once he was finished with theirs we had her purse ready and as we were figuring out what initials to do he once again cursed and yelled at us for not writing down the initials quickly enough… there was also no one else in line behind us… only us. This store needs to get rid of this employee or they will continue to lose customers who have payed a lot of money for...
