Bar Magenta — Restaurant in Milan

Been there twice... the first time both food and service were good that's why I came back, BUT....

I have ordered same dish both times... some pasta with mushrooms and meat.. love mushrooms so when I saw my plate full with mushrooms I knew I were going back there but second time when the plate was I front of me I hardly could see any.... I called for the girl that served me... and she was trying to say that it always looks like that.... I showed the pictures that I took before... she took the picture of my picture and went away with the plate... came back with better portion.... so if you are unlucky then you don't know what you will get... Ordered prosecco, cocktail and after every order she was trying to make me pay when I told her couple of times that I want to pay everything at once... asked for Americans, got espresso... she went away with it came back with the same cup that was so full with water that she hardly could cary it... asked for bill... she just put the amount in machine and showed me...?! But I want to know what am I paying for?! You ALWAYS get the note before you paying... when I mentioned it she just got irritated at me and came back with a bunch of different papers.... 😒 🙄

To conclude: The food can be good if you are lucky, service is horrible, all the time you get the feeling that they trying to get rid of you... sort of pay and leave... and of course the experience that you don't have a clue what they want you to pay for.... First time for me in the restaurant where you are sitting and eating, not just...

Dirty glasses, slow service, and prices not very attractive, for the way it presented in general. The only bar found after 9 pm around, on weekday evening in the center. the only thing worth it was the playlist which was well designed... I risked to see the restroom, but my friends advised me not to go over there. Luckily I didn't need it )) (In response of the comment. It's not the price the reason, it is the way you treat the clients. yeap, I could buy in a shop a bottle of a way more expensive wine, but I wanted a good company after an exhausting day... it is not a lie there were lots'a garbage on the table, while for 10 min we were expecting to get it clean. It was disgusting. the stupidity lies in the fact that the glasses were really so dirty. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo in the dark of how there were to demonstrate for the others that pity. Thanks for the advice, but I'll decide for myself how to get an evening chat )) By that review I simply warned others (incl. Staff) about how the things can get better by improving at least the dishwasher and be more quick and gentle. It's not stupid at all if a customer asks for...

We are a on weeks holiday and this is our first trip to Milan. We came across the bar as we walked from our hotel into town. The minute we sat down we were made to feel welcome and this why we have been here every night. We managed to drink our way through the Specials Cocktail List (which has 24 cocktails on it)! After ordering the last one on the list, the barman kindly supplied them free of charge which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. So thanks to the barman for making amazing cocktails. The staff are very busy but great fun especially the female waitresses. The food has been very good and the drinks amazing. We could not get over how popular the bar is, every night it is very busy. This is testament to the staff and the quality of the food and drink. We would highly recommend this place and if we come back to Milan we will make sure we return and try to go through the other cocktail list. 😂😂 We would like to thank the girls who served us for making our holiday and memorable and enjoyable one. We cannot wait to hopefully return and see...
