We arrived in Milan Cadorna station from Milan Malpensa Airport in the morning and before checking in our hotel slightly away from the city centre, we were hoping to store our bags for the day somewhere. Bar Magneta a.k.a Bounce Luggage Storage caught our eyes on Google Map. For €5 per bag, you can store your suitcases as long as you want through the day. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and got us sorted in no time. On our way back we also decided to stay back for a coffee since we realised the place was more importantly a pub first and luggage storage solution later. The Cappuccino and the Americano were amazing. And the Tiramisu we tried was fantastic. Highly recommended bar & luggage storage solution in a very conveniently located place.

We went in a group setting of four and decided to give this place a try, and boy was the comments right. Its awful. We got seated after a few minutes, without a waiter ushering us. We sat down and were given 2 menus. However the waiter came back asking us to scan a qr code from his phone. After 10 mins he checked in but we were indecisive so he left and never came back. Lucky we got our orders taken by another waitress; but was only told due to the 'bank holiday' all drink prices were increased. There was no sign nor anything written on the digital/monologue menu. CHEEKY! We had to pay €30 for all cocktails (even though 2 Capri Soda, which was listed €5 on the menu; and a Hugo which was supposedly only €8). The food was meh. The risotto tastes like nothing and was cold. One of our fries was only served after all the food was finished. Overall, it was a SUPER OVERRATED place, with restaurant owners thinking customers are money trees. Ridiculous!

Central location, good price, great coffee. Location - very central location and close to everything. Downside of that - it is located on a busy street so sitting outside can be a bit noisy. Facilities - I can’t say too much about it since I only had a quick sneak inside. Outside there is no decoration, you have a lot of construction work. So I wouldn’t consider it in any way fancy. Food & beverage - the coffee is awesome. Very good and also quite cheap. The brioche was tasty but a tiny bit too dark. Staff - very friendly staff. They can’t speak perfect English but you’ll find a way to communicate, they are trying their best. Overall, would return for the friendly service and a quick breakfast.

I can highly recommend Bar Magenta for 2 things: They partner with BagBnB and store your suitcase the whole day for 5 Euro. I choose them because they have very convient opening times for this (find a luggage storage which is open at 8 a.m. on a sunday!) This worked flawlessly the staff was friendly, helpful and spoke englisch very well. When I came back to the bar I decided to go for the "aperitivo", which includes a drink and a platter from their delicious buffet! I also got a glas tap water for free. So for just 15 Euros, the bar watched my luggage all day and I got a drink and food on pick-up! Just perfect!

The aperitivo was ok, nothing special. But you can watch the Serie A here which is amazing!
