A Visit to Ditta Artigianale Upon our recent visit to this remarkable café, we were immediately greeted by an atmosphere that masterfully combines modern elegance with cozy warmth. The interior is a true feast for the eyes: stylish marble tables, beautifully patterned floor tiles, and warm wood accents create a chic yet inviting ambiance. The artistic wall murals and thoughtful lighting give the space a unique character that invites you to linger and enjoy. You can instantly feel the attention to detail that went into designing this place. The heart of the experience, however, was undoubtedly the coffee. Served in lovely cups featuring the café's colorful logo, every sip was a testament to the highest level of barista artistry. The cappuccino, crowned with perfect latte art, was not only visually appealing but also absolutely convincing in taste—bold, aromatic, and velvety all at once. The excellent coffee was accompanied by a selection of irresistible sweet treats. The braided pastry, generously filled and garnished with a delicious pistachio cream, was a revelation of buttery dough and nutty sweetness. The moist chocolate cake, delicately dusted with powdered sugar, was also a dream for any chocolate lover—intense in flavor and wonderful in texture. Our visit was rounded off by the consistently friendly and attentive service, which made us feel warmly welcomed. This café is more than just a place for good coffee; it is an artisanal oasis that celebrates quality and aesthetics in every aspect. We had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to...
Read moreUnfortunately, our experience at this café was quite unpleasant. When we arrived, it was busy, but there were still some free tables — some marked as “reserved” and some without any sign. We were immediately told that there was no point in waiting and were only offered takeaway. However, just a few minutes later, a table became free, and new guests who arrived after us were seated.
The way guests are welcomed also felt confusing: there is a sign at the entrance saying “Please wait to be seated”, but when you actually wait, no one comes for a long time, even though the staff clearly notice you. This creates the impression that you are not really welcome there, as if they would prefer you to leave rather than stay.
Another detail: the café advertises itself as serving specialty coffee, but when I ordered a cappuccino, I wasn’t even asked which beans I would like it on — something that should be standard in a true specialty coffee shop. And when the coffee arrived, it was, unfortunately, no better than average — I would rate it a 4 out of 10.
Overall, the atmosphere left us with the feeling of being somewhere we weren’t expected or valued. Sadly, this was probably our most unpleasant café experience in Milan. I wouldn’t...
Read moreAs a loyal guest, I’ve always admired the unique concept of your space and the consistently delightful food you offer. It’s a place I truly enjoy returning to. However, I’ve recently experienced a few service-related issues that I hope can be addressed.
Today, I ordered a juice and a glass of wine, and it took 15 minutes for them to arrive—I even double-checked the time on the receipt. A few days ago, my friend and I ordered juice and two croissants. While the drinks arrived promptly, the croissants took about 15 minutes to reach our table, despite being readily available on display.
On another occasion last week, I stopped by during a short break and ordered water and focaccia. After waiting 10 minutes without receiving even the water, I had to take the focaccia to go, as I simply couldn’t wait any longer.
What keeps bringing me back is the food, the ambiance, and the charm of your place. That said, I truly hope to see the service match the high standards set by everything else. A bit more attentiveness and efficiency would truly elevate the...
