I work as an Interior Designer near the Lavazza coffee shop and visit it quite frequently with my clients or myself. With my advice in the beginning of this week my parents visited this coffee shop. Also because they love and buy it in my home country. I always liked it, as it has a tasty coffee, nice atmosphere. But unfortunately my parents who are around 60 year old people have had a really a delusional experience there. They entered the shop, being really tired, saw a nice table with sofa and sat there waiting for the waitress. At certain point a woman, I guess a manager, in a suit approached them informing that these seats are considered only for guests of 4 people. So they were asked to move to another table, less comfortable with 2 chairs. My mom suffered from backache, nevertheless they still respected the rules and without saying anything just moved to the indicated table.
In a few of minutes an Italian young couple entered the coffee shop and they sat at the exact same table with sofas where my parents had sat before.
Interesting fact is nobody asked the Italian young couple to get up, although they were also in 2.
Whatever explanation the manager gave them will definitely doesn’t justify the fact that for certain clients the comfortable place on sofa suits and for others no.
I won’t express here my conclusion, but I guess people who are reading it understood the point.
It’s really pity, I have been living here for 10 years, thankfully haven’t experienced this attitude frequently. But would never have expected it from a Flagship store of Lavazza in a core of the city.
Unfortunately I will never ever suggest it to my friends or go myself there with my...
Read moreGo to Cafe illy. There's an employee here who doesn't do his duty and just wants to have rights. Please don't go.
Our family entered the store in accordance with the courtesy of the Western cafe, was escorted by the staff and sat down. And I saw the menu because I was told to take a QR code and watch it, and I also endured this employee throwing the menu a little rudely. And when I ordered the menu, I pointed to a menu with three creams on the bread like Mont Blanc on the menu, and all of a sudden, "choose" just said one word. I was confused. So I was like, 'Do you want me to choose one of the three creams in this picture?'
And I asked him what kind of creams he had, and he told me what kind of creams he had. So I said I would choose hazelnuts.
Then, he smiled in a bad mood and asked me if I was going to do all the hazelnuts So I said, "No, I want three creams." And then he said, "Are you choosing three creams?" Later, when I thought about it, I thought, "Did you ask each person to choose a taste because there are three people?"
Then, rather than saying "choose" in a word, an employee named Tomasso said, "One cream for each."Is it hard to say "please choose a kind" or you don't want to say that, or do you want me to understand the whole meaning of the word "choose"? Don't tarnish the lavzza name.
Go home if you don't want to work. I will never buy lavazza again because of you. Why are you working if you don't want to give this simple explanation to a guest who came into your workplace? I thought you were an angel when you treated other guests.

Read moreTerrible experience! I thought this was a flagship, but their service was not ready yet.I ordered a juice due to my condition and sat down in the bar to find out that they charged 8 euros instead of 6 euros which was the original price. There was no kindness for pre-advice for this extra 2euros(‘maybe seat cost, I ‘guessed’, but not reasonable considering their serving quality, comfortness, etc.). After 5munites of drinking, I wanted to pay it to ‘escape’ the place. However, the ‘girl’( I can’t respect them as their service was extremely poor) who guided me to the bar seat told me that her colleague will help me. I waited ‘her colleague’ for several minutes, but nobody came. I talked to another ‘girl’ for payment, but she told me to pay it in the counter. So bizarre..I walked to the counter and had to be ‘in a line to pay it’ although I was charged to pay ‘extra 2euros’ for bar seats. I took the picture of menu and then the girl suddenly appeared in front of me in a line and told me, ‘you’re right’ asking me to pay to her directly. She or another girl never said ‘Sorry’. I left it ‘forever’. They did not seem to know the meaning of the service, especially that of ‘flagship’! I think, the HQ should focus on educating them correctly or making them learn the excellent service quality of other...
