During my recent visit to Milan as a first-time tourist, my dining experience at Gino's Pizza in Duomo exceeded all expectations. Not only did the restaurant offer a warm and inviting atmosphere, but the food, particularly the pizza, was absolutely outstanding. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Yasir, who graciously invited us inside and ensured we had a memorable culinary experience.
Gino's Pizza is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Duomo, Milan. As we approached the restaurant, Yasir's warm smile and genuine hospitality immediately made us feel welcome. His invitation to try their dishes was a gesture that set the tone for the exceptional dining experience that awaited us.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the pizza! Gino's Pizza truly knows how to craft the perfect pie. The crust was thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chewiness. Topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients, the flavors harmonized beautifully, leaving us craving more with every bite. The pizza at Gino's was undoubtedly one of the best I've ever had, and it left an indelible impression on my taste buds.
What impressed me beyond the scrumptious food was the attentive service provided by the staff, led by Yasir. From the moment we stepped through the door, he took great care of us, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Yasir's knowledge of the menu and his genuine passion for the restaurant's offerings were evident as he guided us through the various choices, providing recommendations based on our preferences.
The inviting ambiance of Gino's Pizza added to the overall charm of the restaurant. The cozy interior, adorned with tasteful decor, created a warm and welcoming environment. Whether you're visiting with friends, family, or as a solo traveler, Gino's provides a relaxed setting to savor their delectable dishes.
As a first-time tourist in Milan, Gino's Pizza in Duomo left a lasting impression on me. It served as the perfect introduction to the city's vibrant culinary scene, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. The combination of delicious food, gracious hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere make Gino's Pizza an absolute must-visit while in Milan.
Once again, I express my sincere gratitude to Yasir for his warm invitation and excellent service. Gino's Pizza has undoubtedly become a highlight of my visit to Milan, and I look forward to returning for another delightful meal...
Read moreI ordered three things, two came very quickly but one item, the pizza, did not come for a long time. The service was really nice but the food was overpriced, I payed 95€ for 3 meals and 3 drinks. The complimentary bread was stale and hard to chew, I wished there was an option to take some money off the price in exchange for not having the bread. We were seated right by the entrance so we received some AC. However the bathroom was not the best, there was tissue everywhere on the floor and I think it was clean but had just fallen on the ground but it's still the degraded atmosphere. The sink was extremely difficult to use because I had never seen this type of sink before but let me explain it . There is a red pedal underneath the sink that you press and hold with your foot and then the water will start. I did not know this and neither did anybody else in the toilet. I literally had to ask a staff member how it works. The iced lemon tea was not so good at first but after drinking it I got used to it, I would not order it again, it was totally overpriced. It was such a small bottle and the worker removed the lid and then didn't give it back so what would have happened if I spilt the drink? Would I still have to pay for it, all because a worker came and took the lid from me after opening it. I searched for cheap place on Google and this is what it showed me it's definitely not cheap, do not be betrayed. The margherita pizza in my opinion was undercooked despite taking the longest, the cheese was a quite literal liquid, also the chicken , in the polo wok, was a bit dry. Don't be fooled by the lasagna on the menu it is absolutely tiny and it probably isn't enough for one person. I wouldn't recommend this place and I would not go again. I heard two solo songs from blackpink members, in the restaurant which made me feel like the staff have excellent music taste, ...

We asked for a starter, the answer was they didn't have it today. Then we changed it to another, the answer was they didn't have it today. Then we changed for a third choice, but the answer was they didn't have it today. The fourth starter choice was finally something they had. We ordered a pizza and some pasta for the main course. After 15 minutes a bag was thrown at the table, with some old hard bread, but no plates to eat from. So I guess they wanted the oil and vinegar to be spilled upon the table. Luckily we didn't have to wait much more than 20 minutes for the starter to arrive. When we were done, they removed the fork and knives along with the starter plate. We received a pizza half cooked almost raw, and when we complained, we were told it was al dente, but it wasn't, it was raw! Al dente is hard, not soft. We couldn't start because they took the forks and knives, and didn't provide any new ones. 10 minutes later I received some half cooked pasta that was still too hard, and again it was al dente. Apparently al dente is soft and hard. We couldn't eat together because the food wasn't brought to us at the same time. When we received the bill the waiter said service is not included, to inform that needed to tip. My thought was clear, he stated he didn't include any service and he was right! No smile, no customer service, just rude, an awful attitude, and a terrible example to serve for others, on how you shouldn't treat your customers! Several times we had to get up and tap the waiter on his shoulder, because he kept ignoring us, even thought we sat right behind him and...
