I personally would not recommend this place. At 30€ a cocktail, and up, it’s expensive for fairly bland tasting cocktails. Don’t get me wrong; the menu makes it sound like you’re about to indulge on the rarest tropical concoctions but they were moderately adequate. In fact, I had to send the La Paz cocktail back as it smelled and tasted like fish, despite supposedly being a passion fruit sweeter finishing cocktail as the menu described. The drinks are presented beautifully, however, and the service is nearly five star although it took forever to pay, and I was surprised after patroning there for about 2 hours, to not be offered a food or dessert menu, or more water (yes, I could have asked, but the whole point of 5 star establishments is so you get treated a bit). Furthermore, the ambiance is brilliantly stunning! Although for the Mandarin Oriental, I was surprised to see some rust and chipped flakes on the matte black umbrella finishes, and other cosmetic wear and tear. Look, these are all things I’m used to, but again, for the price and name brand established, it felt off putting (so much so, I said to myself, remind me - next time I stay 5 star to book with Four Seasons and not a Mandarin Oriental property as again I just felt the devil was lost a bit in the details). I really do want to re-emphasize the wait staff were awesome, and I truly believe they were just following the service level they were trained.

Also this is a nit picky complaint, but the host sat me right next to another occupied table who were on a second or third date talking very loudly. The part that bothers me is half the space was unoccupied, and I had even pointed to a more further back area to sit, but was still directed to the same table - right next to the...

I don't know where to begin...we had a fantastic night there. The place gives you directly serious sophisticated lounge vibes. Starting from the relaxed atmosphere with the dimmed lights and the alluring music to the minimal furniture and the to die for granite bar. We sat there and enjoyed not one, not two, not three but four of the most delicious "old fashioned"s we have ever had. All the credits go to Antonio who took care of us and was über friendly and attentive. So were the other stuff also. The salmon dish, I really need not talk about it; simply exquisite. My go to place when back again in Milano....

The food and drink was quit good and decent price. But the service was just pretentious. If you don’t stay at hotel or make a reservation just don’t go there!. First snob Asian hostage gave us a head to toe look which is not Mandarin standard and said you can stay for 40 min! . We ordered the bottle of bubble which we need to asked for refills( they did not know where they put our bottle). the food was ok we asked for extra chili that never come. Anyway don’t waste you time going there if you like to relax. Btw there is one very friendly guy who I can feel he love what he doing I have to give...

Delicious food. Amazing relax atmosphere in the garden. The portions are perfect so you can eat easily two meals - like apetizers and first or second course and even fit in the dessert. Nice wine. Good service. I ordered octopus which was supposed to come with potatoes purée and changed it for asparagus with no issues. Even the antipasti - fish tartar was very soft (just didn’t take the pics). My friend got nice meat which I tried the sauce and was yummy too. And they served their fried chickpeas one bite as Michelin star restaurants do and even that was very tasty.
