If you're hungry for a quick bite and happen to be in Italy, the magic word is : PIZZA!
You can never go wrong with pizza and if you're hungry or hangry (like me most of the times) then this is the place to go. Usually, near the duomo you will only find overpriced non authentic Italian food. However, this little hole in the wall, pizza spot is the place to go to. They keep it basic and they keep it real. You only get 3 choices of pizza to choose from and they are freshly made every single moment as it is always packed. This isn't a place to sit down and relax, but it is perfect for on the go. If you want to eat it as you go they also have take out options. You get in and out quick, so this is the best part.
I gave this place 4 stars because for being a fast food pizza joint it definitely deserves it. If you're looking for sit down food this isn't the place to come to. Also if you're looking for thin crust or gluten free, not the place either! The slices of pizza are a decent size and they cut it up in little pieces. It seems weird at first but honestly it's the easiest way to grab and eat and go! Definitely check this place out especially if you happen to be sight seeing and walking around a lot. The pizza hits the...
Read moreOne of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We visited Spontini expecting a quick and enjoyable pizza meal, but were extremely disappointed by the behavior of the staff. One of the workers completely ignored the customers at the counter because he was too busy talking to the cashier. We stood there waiting to order while they casually chatted, paying no attention to the growing line.
Even worse, that same worker got into a loud argument with an elderly man who had a takeaway box. He rudely shouted at him and his family, telling them they weren’t allowed to eat in the restaurant — in front of everyone. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and the employee even used offensive language, including calling the man “sharmoota,” which is deeply disrespectful and completely unacceptable in any setting, especially in a restaurant.
I’m honestly shocked by how poorly this location is managed. The unprofessional and aggressive behavior of the staff ruined our visit. I will not be returning, and I strongly discourage others from...
Read moreIf you're hungry for a quick bite and happen to be in Italy, the magic word is PIZZA! Pizza is always a good choice. Margarita is delicious and the rest is added by its location. A hungry person like me was more than satisfied. The food was tasty, as one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber, and the amount and quality were also commendable. You walk in, grab a pizza, and eat it standing up. Yet, if you're looking for a cheap piece of pizza in the heart of Milan, this is a good alternative. The staff is quite helpful. When you leave this American diner, you'll have mixed sentiments. Though the meal is tasty, I must add that the presentation is lacking on a broader scale. Make sure to grab a seat before diving into your meal. Definitely check this place out, especially if you're sightseeing and going around a lot. Stop by for a quite...
