XIN FU JI — Restaurant in Milan

Extremely Disappointed by the Rude Service Xin Fu Ji Milano – 30 May 2025, 20:30 We were absolutely shocked by the rude and unprofessional behavior we experienced during our visit to Xin Fu Ji Milano. There were six of us dining together. From the start, we clearly informed the waitress that we do not eat pork before placing our orders. One of the dishes ordered was Orange Chicken. However, the waitress brought out Orange Duck instead. When we told her it was the wrong dish and that we do not eat duck either, she didn’t apologize. Instead, she rudely replied, “I thought you said you only don’t eat pork??” — as if it were our fault. When we firmly stated that we had ordered Orange Chicken, she argued that the restaurant only serves Orange Duck, not chicken — something that, if true, should have been explained at the beginning. The situation escalated when another young waitress approached us and accused us of ordering the wrong dish. As we tried to calmly explain what had actually happened, she stood with her hands on her waist in a clearly confrontational and disrespectful stance. Not long after, an older woman — seemingly the mother of the two waitresses — came to our table and asked, “Did you order the wrong dish?” It became clear to us that the waitresses had misrepresented the situation to their mother, implying that we were at fault. This made us even more upset, and we felt compelled to stand up for ourselves. Eventually, under pressure, the first waitress admitted that she had misheard and made the mistake. But by then, the damage had been done. To be spoken to with such rudeness, blamed for a staff error, and treated with zero respect — especially by staff much younger than us — was absolutely unacceptable. We simply cannot believe that anyone in the hospitality industry would treat paying customers this way. What should have been a pleasant dinner turned into a deeply upsetting and unpleasant experience. We sincerely hope the management addresses this behavior seriously so that no future guests are treated...

Extremely authentic and delicious!! A fantastic restaurant with such great service & wonderful chef that cooked a tasty meal! 100% the best asian meal we had this trip in Italy, this is coming from a Chinese family. The meal is truly authentic & the owners are so sweet & friendly.

I would recommend everything here! We had such a big meal cos it was so wonderful. It is also extremely cheap for what you are having, even cheaper than asia.

The steam fish is soo fresh & cheap, at 20 euro! We love the Sichuan fish too, the fish is so delicious we want to go back for dinner. Prawn with vermicelli is delicious too :') can you imagine even the green bean is...

Authentic Chinese flavors in the heart of Milan!

We ordered the smashed cucumbers, dry fried green beans, mapo tofu, and the boiled spicy fish filet. All of it was delicious and cooked to perfection. The prices are also very reasonable, all dishes except the fish were rather small portions. The green beans were so good that we ordered a second serving.

Lovely Chinese restaurant, I needed a break from all of the heavy pasta. This really hit the spot in so many ways. For sure will keep this Chinese place for one of my...
