İ strongly advice you to stay away from this hotel, especially if you are traveling alone and you have some questions to be answered before you take off. İ added this hotel to my favourites at booking.com but because they didn’t have any more rooms there, İ made the worst mistake ever and İ decided to book a room from their own website. İ booked the room at 10.45 on December, 10 including my credit card details. İ immediately wrote an email asking if the building is in a safe area as it was an important detail for me as a solo-traveler. They finally got back to me at 12.07 on December, 11 and just said “no worries, great location” although my concern was not the location but staying at a hotel-like environment with a reception and İ explained that İ didn’t prefer airbn just for that reason. İn their email, they even didn’t know anything about my booking and thought it was via booking.com. İ corrected their mistake but started to lose my trust in their professionalism. They also said they sent the payment link although İ had already shared my details on their website during booking. Questioning their reliability, İ wrote another email to ask if it was possible to pay during check-in at 13.26 on December, 11. İ still had questions in mind but all of a sudden, they switched to whats app and sent me the details of my booking. There, İ noticed that my room was in TOTALLY a different building 2 minutes away from the main one. Of course, at that point, İ raised my concern once again and asked for a room change to another one in their main building so that İ could complete the payment. Then, at 16.59, without answering my questions or getting my final approval, they shared their cancellation policy. Because İ didn’t agree to pay, yet, İ was comfortable and asked my questions once more at 18.37. They saw them (blue tick) but never replied. İt was my last day before the flight, btw! So, İ waited for an hour and then booked another room at another hotel because İ had to pack and didn’t want to worry about it any more. At 19.35, İ wrote to them “Anyways, i don't have much time so i booked another hotel. Thanks for the support so far. Have a nice evening!”. İ even thanked them kindly instead of blaming them for the inconvenience they caused on my last day. They again saw my message but never replied. Then, as soon as İ arrived in Milano at 11.20 on December, 13, 16 hours after İ thanked them politely and cancelled my reservation, İ received a message saying they were waiting for me; otherwise, 125€ for my first night had already been drawn from my credit card. This was just fait accompli and almost scam because they did it on purpose. İ was still constructive and reminded them that İ didn’t agree to pay and it wasn’t my fault so requested them not to let me spend my time in milano with these feelings. They didn’t even apologise for their lack of support or agree to refund my money, which İ could never understand how they did without my cvc ( İ will report it to my bank as well). These people are just not professional at all and they have no idea about hospitality. İ have been to many parts of the world but this is the first time İ experience such a treatment. İ just wanted to give them a last chance to compensate for their mistake but we will see if they will care about what is written here or not. We stayed early May, the air conditioning doesn't work in the rooms (we tried out two of six rooms) and the room temperature was 28 degrees celsius. It's right by the main road so it's super noisy so you can not keep the windows open. So imagine the room temperatures in peak summer months. When we complained about our awful night (it was too hot to sleep as we had to turn the AC off, it was still 27 degrees in our room as we couldn't open the window due to extreme noise) the staff assured be that management would get back to us the next day and issue a refund. However, after multiple chases after four days and promises that "they will respond to me in a few minutes" they completely ghosted me and ignored the issue. Very dishonest and a truly bad customer experience. "Boutique hotel" is the biggest joke, there isn't even a proper lobby and the rooms are TINY. From the minute we got there, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Christina and Claudia were especially good. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Service they provided was better than in some five-star hotels I've been to before!!
My boyfriend had a birthday while we were there. Without any prompting, they surprised us with an incredibly delicious breakfast from the bakery downstairs. A truly personal touch that showcases their extraordinary service.
I loved our room too. It was really well decorated and it felt cozy and welcoming. Plus, it was super clean.
So, if you're looking for a great place to stay with awesome service and a clean, nice room, you should definitely check out this hotel.
