Zakuro — Restaurant in Milan

Probabilmente la cena migliore fatta in questa settimana a Milano per il salone del mobile. Abbiamo cenato nel dehors (anche se il tram che passa proprio accanto, da noia) ed il servizio è stato veloce, gentile e puntuale, le ragazze sono state veramente carine. I ravioli di gamberi erano ottimi, ben cotti, ripieno delicato e ben bilanciato, il mio commensale ha preso quelli di maiale e anche i suoi erano buoni, naturalmente più decisi come sapore. Poi 6 pezzi di Nigiri, tonno, salmone e branzino, una tempura mista gamberi e verdure e un pollo teriyaki con riso per il mio commensale. Il pesce era ottimo, fresco, burroso da sciogliersi in bocca, sapore come deve essere, idem il riso del nigiri e il wasabi era vero e non la solita polverina addizionata con acqua. Anche il pollo teriyaki era buono ma forse un po' troppo occidentalizzato, quello che mi ha deluso e che non mi fa dare 4 stelle è stata la tempura. Purtroppo era unta, tanto, la pastella non era una nuvola croccante come deve essere ma una cosa piuttosto grossa e invadente come sapore, le zucchine erano quelle giganti e insapore tagliate a rondelle (grosse come CD) l'unica cosa che mi sento di salvare sono i gamberi. È stato un peccato perché ha un po' rovinato la cena che fino a quel momento era stata ottima. Prezzo alto specialmente se prendete una bottiglia di vino, del resto se lo vuoi lo paghi, visto che generalmente non si beve. Insomma ci tornerei sicuramente ma senza prendere la tempura ed è un peccato. Spero che abbiate...

I went for lunch with some coworkers and it was an okay spot. I ordered the box 6 and I felt like I made a mistake because there was not enough food. I was still hungry afterwards. As for flavors, there wasn’t anything that was particularly amazing. My coworkers got a tonkatsu ramen and a veggie ramen which they said were not fully satisfied by in terms of flavor. A wonderful charming restaurant that is very unassuming from the outside - we even walked passed it trying to find it, but inside the decor was stunning. Our server was amazing, very kind and attentive and answered our questions about the menu. We each had a starter, main and dessert and from start to finish it was superb!
