'A Puteca d' 'a Pizza — Restaurant in Naples

This place was not on our list of pizzas to try but on our first night walking around Naples we saw all the other places around here swamped so we stopped by and grabbed 2 to go and holy moly, are we glad we did!

It was the perfect size, the ingredients were SOO amazingly fresh and tasty, and there was a great selection of both the "regular" folded and the fried pizzas.

In fact, it was so good that the next morning - as we were staying just a short walk away - we grabbed 2 more pizzas for breakfast! And I am one of those "intermittent fasting" folks that doesn't do breakfast haha

The place is tiny - basically a to-go/takeaway counter - so it's very fun to watch the pizzaiolo do his thing.

We tried 5 different pizzerias - all the "legendary" spots and honestly, this was by far our favorite!

Most importantly, the food was delicious. Made-to-order pizza, calzone, and pizza fritte. Nothing was sitting around in a display. It was all prepared and cooked fresh.

The prices are very good. Less expensive than other spots in the area. It’s a takeaway place with a small interior and tables outside.

Really nice people - not only did they give me warm friendly vibes, they were also so helpful teaching me about the proper way to eat the pizza fritte and how to pronounce the words in Italian.

I love the tv monitor outside where you can see your pizza fritte as it’s frying!

I highly recommend anyone...

This little gem serves up one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. Every bite was pure magic — fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and that perfect balance of chewy crust and melty goodness. 🍕✨

Don’t let the size fool you — there’s no seating, but trust me, you won’t even care. Standing on the street with this masterpiece in hand feels like the most authentic Neapolitan experience you could ask for.

I loved it so much I came back twice in the same day (yes, it’s that good) and each time my taste buds were in heaven. 🤌🔥
