Dear tourists who might be stopping for a dinner here: do not go there. We sat down, ordered drinks (which was already weird because the server didn't ask but just said 'water?') and our food. My friend ordered a pizza and I ordered bruscetta and gnocchi with tomato and mozzarella. We got our drinks and then the bruscetta. The bruscetta was really oily and the bread rather hard which is why I started using fork and knife even though I know how to usually eat bruscetta (I'm from Germany/Berlin, we have many Italian people living there which does result in some Italian restaurants). A server comes to our table and tells me to eat it with my hands because its 'good bruscetta' and that should be eaten with hands. After that, unwanted attention from all servers didn't stop. They went around, looked at us while we were eating and my friend even caught them bickering at us after the bruscetta thing which was...unnerving. Before I had finished my last bite of bruscetta, the server already put the gnocchi in front of me. It all felt very rushed. The gnocchi were oily as well. Oily food isn't to great on my stomach (had stomach aches only 30 minutes later) and it was a huge portion so I didn't finish it and asked (after eating about half of it) if they could pack it into a box so I could eat it later. They put it in a box but not without one server showing the other my not-eaten food and bickering about it again. We alao paid 1,50€ for bread we didn't order. The food was good, not great but good. However, if you feel uncomfortable while eating the whole time because the servers are openly judging you, it's the worst and it is not the way servers should do their work (worked in the serving industry myself). I would not recommend, will also not go...
Read moreA pity that there is not a negative rating available! The most revolting so-called "lasagna" I have ever had! Poor service, aggressive waiters, unprofessional owners and revolting ice cold food! None of the food described on the menu was available save for the so-called "lasagna" that you are encourged to have. We sent the food back twice and even told them this was not lasagne but cannelloni with some congealed grey filling which resulted in a confrontation. They didn't even have olive oil available for the bread. This is a typical situation of take advantage of the tourists! This is the worst meal in Napoli! Avoid this restaurant that serves inferior quality food! Note: they also refused to accept payment via credit card and only wanted cash. This restaurant is a...
Read moreWe were asked to move seats because apparently that area was only drinks. Except the table next to us had food? Once we were seated it took some time before we were asked for our drink and food order. It also took quite some time before the food actually arrived. We saw other tables getting complementary bread with oil, but didn't receive any of our own. The 5 waiters were not focused on work and often stood close at our table. At the end there was some miscommunication as none of them could speak English that well. I think he was adamant in asking for a tip but I honestly barely understood and did not think their work...
