Although the food itself (fried pizza and lasagne) was surprisingly good and fairly priced, what I witnessed in this restaurant represents a severe breach of hygiene regulations and a potential public health hazard.

The problems began before I even sat down. The waiter rudely interrupted me multiple times, loudly announcing each item of my order across the restaurant straight to the kitchen. During the meal, he maintained an unnerving stare at me the entire time, making it impossible to dine in comfort.

The situation deteriorated rapidly: • WAITERS CARRIED TRASH THROUGH THE DINING AREA WITH THEIR BARE HANDS, then immediately started handling customer plates and utensils without washing. • THE WAITER WHO SERVED ME DROPPED A FULL SET OF CUTLERY ON THE FLOOR, THEN PICKED IT UP AND CONTINUED TO SET THE TABLE WITH IT AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED. • Shockingly, the same waiter put his finger in his mouth, appeared to pick at his teeth or gums, and then handled clean utensils immediately afterward—without any hand hygiene whatsoever. • And in the kitchen, THE COOK WAS SMOKING WHILE PREPARING FOOD, which is a blatant breach of both hygiene and fire safety standards.

These behaviors go far beyond mere poor service—they constitute real legal violations under Italian health and sanitary law.

I am preparing a formal complaint to ASL Napoli 1 Centro and will report the case to the NAS (Nuclei Antisofisticazioni e Sanità) of the Carabinieri, who are responsible for investigating food safety offenses and sanitary fraud.

To the management: such disregard for basic sanitary protocols cannot be tolerated. To potential patrons: this establishment should be avoided until inspected and held...

For short, they tried to scam us.

The waiters took their time for everything. I ordered 0,5 l water bottle, he brought 0,75 l which was more expensive, without saying anything. When i complained that it is not what i ordered, he said they dont have the smaller one (he could have said it when i ordered it…). After long time they brought bruschettas, that we ordered as apetizers. They were ok. After another long waiting they finally brought us main dishes, which were much much worse compared to what we got for similar prize in the area before.

The worst part was paying. From the experience with the water we were cauitious and wanted to check the receipt. The waiter told me he cant bring me the receipt to the table and i need to go with him. So I went with him, he finally gave me the receipt. I took it back to our table to check with friends if everything is ok, it was not. They charged us 3 bottles of water instead of one. There is no way i could remember this wrong since only i ordered water and the others had other drinks. I argued with them that they charged us something that we didnt have. They were trying to pursuade me that we had at least two bottles. I insisted that we had only one, they finally issued the receipt with...

I eat today there and i was extremely disapointed. I DId order a meat with barolo wich is basicaly meat with red wine sauce (reduction of red wine sauce barolo) it was way far away from tath . First of all the meat was way overcooked even if i did specificaly asked rare ! The sauce was not even close by a barolo sauce . And I am italian i know exactly what meat barolo means ... it was more like sauce with kynd of milk and flour made a bit pink tath all 😅basicaly what we call in italy scaloppina. When i complained about it they didnt even try to adjust nothing. Its a very turist place not an autentic italian restaurant. For the whine i took one glass cuz I was alone , they just had one choice wich also was disgusting. I had to order a bottle in order to have a beter option ... (and u can see it in the bill ) wich i obviously didnt finish and remain there it look like a marketing strategy for make u buy the bottle... a lot more better place where to eat are around so pls choice wise where to spend your money.... definetly never gonna come back is a full scam.
