Pizza & Passione — Restaurant in Naples

Overall we loved this place! Its in a location that's buzzing with excitement and people in the evening and the food is fantastic at reasonable prices. Highly recommend this for a nice family pizza dinner.

Food - We ordered two pizzas, calzone and potato croquettes. The pizza was wonderful, toppings and sauce were amazing and of course the crust was remarkable. The calzone was just as delicious as the pizzas, the outside shell was remarkably crisp and light while the inside contents were steaming hot and fresh. The potato croquettes were also delicious as we all enjoyed them as a nice appetizer before our pizzas came out.

Service - Could not ask for better service. We were seated quickly, order taken and food delivered in remarkable time.

Pizza is good enough, but the service was not. We were ignored for a long time (and she did apologize, so they knew they were in the wrong for that). They cleared a table next to us after the people there had left, but there was no one waiting. So the people were gone so the trash on their table couldn’t bother them, and no one needed the table, but they prioritized everything before us. They also charge €1 per person just to sit there, so the pizza was €5 and the water was €1 and we had €6 ready; but they charged us €8. That seems a little pricey for a small water and a few slices of pizza. The experience is probably better for Italians, because they don’t seem to ignore them. On my food tour, this pizza was THE BEST THING we ate! It had an amazing char on the bottom that created a “tiger” pattern. The amazing buffalo mozzarella melted in your mouth. It really blew my taste buds away with how simple yet powerful the fresh ingredients were. I think this might have even been the best pizza I’ve eaten. The service was so friendly and the staff had a warmness to their service. It was cooked in a hot oven for only a few minutes which created a wonderful smoked note in every bite. An did I mention it was only 6 euro?! I felt like it was a magical experience to gobble down this amazing food in the classical Naples alleys. Definitely a highlight...
