We had very high expectation for this place, from reading the reviews, however we got really disappointed… first, while the waiters seems very welcoming and nice, our waitress seemed quite irritated at us, there was a bad vibe from the beginning of the night. We ordered two medium beers (0,5 L for 6 euros) and the beer glass was only half full with beer as the rest was foam. We asked for it to be filled all the way up and it came back with only a tiny bit more beer in - not near the line for 0,5 L. Our starter was very good (the cold plate for 2 people, 10 euros), however the pizzas were very disappointing without much taste. We also asked as the first thing whether we were allowed to smoke if we sat down, and we were told that was fine, but after we ordered and got the (tiny) beers, we were told we couldn’t smoke and we had to move our drinks and plates ourselves without help. In general we were just really disappointed with the visit. However,...
Read moreMy friend & I were having a look around Naples for authentic, Italian pizza and found this Pizzeria via google reviews. Interesting location but very authentic for the area (bit odd for us Brits). We had a butchers at the menu outside, and the owner of the restaurant came over. He offered some advice as well as told us about his beautiful restaurant. We went in, were given italian menus, which then were quickly swapped for English ones when we admitted we didn't understand the menu 😂. Quick service and the food was GORGEOUS. The diavola was definitely top 3 pizza's I've ever had. Base was beautiful & fluffy whilst the toppings were rich & velvety. 2 huge pizza's and a beer for €20 is a steal too. Afterwards, we were greeted to an Italian street musician who was a bit weird. If I ever come back to Naples, I 100% will...

The place has a trendy vibe—less of a traditional style—with young waiters. Given its location right in the tourist center, even the prices are quite reasonable.
The only reason I can’t give a perfect score is due to the service—we had to wait a bit too long to place our order, and not all the staff were particularly friendly. That said, I still recommend this place, and if I find myself in the Spanish Quarter again, I would definitely come back...
