Avoid!!!!!! We just had one plate of antipasti between us because Iam gluten intolerant. My partner just decided to have it with me. Most of the food was veg with probably 4 small sardines. Glass of large wine and tiny beer. All in total €29 We were shocked. Also there was big black hair in olive mix which I was too polite to point out /left it on the edge of the plate/. Very sad experience. It was my birthday street food lunch. Lady /the boss as she called herself/ was so aggressive when we approached her that it seems far too much for street food starter! I suppose if we would have main it would come up to €100? FOR STREET FOOD? We will try to take this further. If nobody is going to challenge these practices nothing ever is going to change. Our host told us that she ripped us off.. added extra €10. Its not about money, but principle. It seems English language is triggering higher prices how very...

We dropped in the restaruant on Ballaro market expecting nice sea food and friendly atmosphere because it generally looked nice and crowded, but unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The dishes, while technically competent, lacked any real creativity or memorable flavors—just average food that hardly justifies the price. the staff also cannot communicate in basic English.

Service was even worse. The staff seemed overwhelmed, nervous and brough us wrong dishes. And they charge it 10%!!!!!

The atmosphere was dull and uninspiring, with a cramped and noisy dining room that made it hard to enjoy the meal. The decor felt outdated, and the overall vibe was far from welcoming. Main waitress was loud, rude and unfriendly.

For a place with any ambition, this restaurant falls well short in all areas except maybe basic food preparation. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have very low...

SCAM AND NOT ONLY A TOURIST TRAP This is the first time ever where I wonder why Google doesn’t allow zero stars. Too bad I haven’t checked the reviews first. The lady with tattoos!!! She went nuts yelling at me for as asking for the bill before paying!! She yelled and cursed in Italian that I will have the bill once I pay!!! I insisted to have the bill and she was cursing again. They charge 10% service fee for getting cursed and yelled at? The food was deep fried in extremely smelly and old oil. They get the tourists by serving large portions on the table but the food is tasteless and oil is smelly and old. The drinks are undrinkable with oxidated ingredients.

The reviews you see for this place are understandable. I will start off by saying that nowhere in Italy you will pay €1.5 for a macchiato, max €1.2 & the coffee is not Italian coffee. Believe me. - a croissant is max €1.5 but we paid €2.5 for one with chocolate. I asked for a glass of water which ALWAYS comes with coffee in Italy (sparkling or natural) but got offered a bottle instead. Oh and don’t think i’m being stingy because other places will give you bottled water in a cup. Like previous comments said, it is a TOURIST TRAP. We got a fresh orange juice and surprise surprise it was not sweet. I must say these Sicilians are friendly because they want your money.
