NOVA food pairing — Restaurant in Palermo

This place is highly highly recommended for a number of reasons. The food is incredibly good 👍 I mean balancing the flavors i tasted in this restaurant was beyond amazing 😋. Gourmet portions, beautifully plated, well thought and excuted menu, fusion of flavors and If I may say a little bit of magic in each plate. If you are a person who don't understand or appreciate Gourmet food! i advice you to go to a trattoria instead because you will not understand this sophisticated menù. The plates, setting are beautifully designed and the waiters are magicians. The chef and owner personally visited our table to check on everything. Honestly a must visit place. Second of all this place is historical as it housed the famous aromateria of Ignazio and Vincenzo Florio ! No kidding if you like literature and actually read the book of the florios of Sicily, you must visit!

I personally loved the raw calamari, the chesse and salumi, the pasta, the polpo, tartare di manzo and the semifreddo.

We had dinner here last night. We didn’t have a reservation so they offered us to have a drink and they would seat us if a table was available (Friday night, so a very busy night) the service was absolutely amazing. The staff were so kind and very helpful. I didn’t realise it was more of a fancy place - I was just wearing Nike trainers and leggings but they treated us still the same as anyone else. As the evening got busier it looked as if they were wouldn’t be a table but the kind staff went out there way for us and asked the owner if we could eat inside (the seating is outside) and he said that was fine. The owner was a very kind person also. The food was so tasty and great portion size for the price. We aren’t massive fish eaters but the fish dishes were so lovely. If you look around nothing is valuable as Nova food pairing... I booked for me and my friends during our trip in palermo and I must say that they were absolutely fantastic. This amazing place in the middle on historic centre of Palermo have the most great service and food ever.

Food and drinks are impressive and tasty , you can feel the quality of each ingredient. The colorful menu celebrate traditional Mediterranean food in duo with drinks (made from a great mixologist) just blew my mind... also everybody are attentive, kind and fun .
