I recently had the pleasure of dining at passìu restaurant in Palermo and it was fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. The sandwiches are incredible, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. There are many different types of food you can try, even specialities from Palermo and are all at a very reasonable price. I tried the porky sandwich and it was delicious, perfectly toasted bread and a great mix of flavours. Their drink menu is also impressive. I had the house-made passion fruit sour which was refreshing and a great complement to the meal. Service was quick and attentive, and the space was clean and well-organized. Tourists and locals, you have to go to Passiu!! We have been in Palermo for a month and gone to this place multiple times because of how fresh the food is and the kindness of the staff. We recommend the seafood platter (we actually have gone to other seafood places around Palermo but it did not compare to Passiu). Also we recommend the burgers, they are always phenomenal! They take so much pride in the quality of the food they serve and their customer service. The owners of Passiu make sure they have the freshest products from the meat to the seafood. Really delicious paninis and at very reasonable prices.

For appetizer, we got the Bruschetta Caponata (vegetarian) - so juicy and delicious. Honestly one of the best bruschettas I've had after 3 weeks in Sicily.

I got a Vegetarian panini - so good that I ordered another to-go for snack later! It's stacked with grilled eggplant, tomato, and zucchini with cheese, for 4€. Very flavorful.

My husband got the Passíu panini, for 6€, which has some meat in it. He actually preferred my vegetarian panini more.
